The moment we’ve all been waiting for is almost upon us. The first off-camera images from the PC version of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes have been unveiled. Konami and NVIDIA are showcasing this new title at an event that takes place in Akihabara, and below you can find the first images from that event. Here is hoping that NVIDIA and Konami will share a direct feed soon. Until then, enjoy the images. Kudos to NeoGAF’s member ‘josecitoxnyo‘ for sharing them!

    1. Perhaps the game is not that CPU-bound so there’s no need for extra cooling but they do need those triple GTX cards to show off the game in 4K.

    2. even most demanding game doesnt need aftermarket cooler, except you live in california and another hot region.

  1. Hmmm…a PC version of a game being promoted in all it’s PC glory in Akihabara, Japan.

Is this a clear sign that the MGS series won’t be riddled with region locks?

Or will they pull another MGR: Revengeance and locked it out even for Japanese PC gamers upon launch?

  2. Seems like PC version will have Tessalation and even more enhanced graphics options as well according to Nvidia reps there.

    The console plebs are coming.

      1. I agree. You don’t notice it as it looks at it should. Natural. But not the nvidia way. Overused to make the competition to look bad. Overused even for their cards.

  3. Japan is finally embracing PC gaming.

I didn’t think I would live to see the day but I’m loving every second of it.

  4. The news said, they gonna unveil some video footage this sunday,I was waiting for some good material but instead they show this nice triple force system.Hopefully tomorrow come high quality video.

  5. Yuji Korekado said that you’ll be able to achieve full HD with 60 FPS on a mid-range PC. i want to kiss kojima’s a$$ right now

    1. Thats totally bs…if I say for u which Intel CPU im running most next-gen at 4k u will smile…and nope I using a i7!

      no bottleneck!

    1. this is great , thank you for link.. just as i replied to you earlier.. not many people buy games on PC to actually please these greedy companies and people in suits… so that’s why PC ports in most cases get least care like PES15 did for example

    2. i take PC gamers just don’t want to tolerate same BS every year and most of their favorite series dumbed down and milked for cash by these companies.. they don’t care for making good games anymore , just going to where they can earn more cash , and that’s most of ignorant sheep console players that will buy same COD every year forever

      1. yup, they spend so much money on this games and they suck.

Its like everyone who works today in game development is an idiot.

So much focus on cinematics and cheap made repettive sidemissions and collectables, not on gameplay though.

        Id
argue that level and mission design have suffered alot, most games have
samey generic close minded missions and enviroments, as if the
        developers are out of ideas.

Or it might be that the project turns
into a mess, some guy who worked on ac3 didnt even know the game had
lockpicking apparently so many people worked on the game that no one had
any idea what each other was doing and with such large teams the games
        feel disconected with their mechanics.

        Game developers from the
90s were game creators, they were talented with good ideas, they spend
the least money as possible to make a interesting game. Now it works
the other way around, they employ a few hundrends of 3d artists and
animators to make the assets with the most amount of money and hope that
in this whole mess, they will end up making a good game.

How long they gonna keep going and not reallizing that this is a mess?

        But
ofcourse games nowadays arent about being good, but picking a
sucessfull license that people buy like cod and creed and milking that
forever….with dlc….and microtransactions, whats the point of making a
good game when you can just advertize the game so much that everyone
who was let down from the last game will be brainwashed to buy it?

        It
has turned into a stale scam of hype and marketing that everyone is
encouraged to play the games everyone plays thanks to social features
and lack of any competition from new ips.

and then you got indie games like gone home and path to thalamus that arent even games, i trully fear for the future of games.
