Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart PC screenshots-4

Here are the first PC screenshots for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Nixxes Software has shared the first official 4K screenshots for the PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. These screenshots showcase what PC gamers can expect from this upcoming platformer.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will support NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2.0 and Intel XeSS at launch. Furthermore, the game will support some Ray Tracing effects. Nixxes will be using RT to enhance the game’s reflections, as well as exterior shadows.

It’s also worth noting that the game will support the DualSense controller, allowing players to experience haptic feedback and dynamic trigger effects. However, since this is a third-person game, we suggest using the Keyboard & Mouse. And, since this is Nixxes we’re talking about, we expect to get solid K&M support.

Sony will release Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC on July 26th.

Enjoy!

  1. looks washed out a little bit. Sony makes sure the game plays best on PS5 it seems and Nixxes software is Sony’s puppet.

    1. did you see steam pictures of spider man? don’t expect to the game to look like in this screenshots

      1. Yep and to each of their own!
Was a hardcore K/M user before, but allways enjoyed racers and plattformers with gamepad!

These.days I just use a pad, evwn tho I have the great Corsair K63 and Ironclaw wireless, with their lapboard!
Play all games on my CX55 Tv

    1. One should use whatever they are comfortable with. I have always gamed using keyboard and mouse and frankly, a lot of games, such as God of War and Spider-Man that I played on the PlayStation first were much easier with keyboard and mouse. Spider-Man, for example, requires two simultaneous button presses for finisher moves, on keyboard you just press 2. And Rachet and Clank has a lot of shooting so no, gamepad isn’t the only way to play.

      1. Also on GoW, aiming to hit the targets during the chest “challenges” was so much easier with mouse rather with a joypad.

      2. Yep true and to each of their own!

    2. I don’t want to play with a controller, I’ve tried it, in many games, always feels clunky, moving the camera feels wrong, inaccurate, I don’t like it. Don’t force me, as I don’t force you to play with M&K

      1. You might be in luck. According to the steam listing: “Play with the DualSense™ controller to experience haptic feedback and dynamic trigger effects.*** Or choose mouse and keyboard – with a wide range of control customization options.”

    3. LOL this is an absurd comment. People can use whatever the hell they want. I’ll always use a game pad for 3rd person games. Feels better

  2. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart game made me realised how much video game animation close to 3D pixar movie animation

  3. That actually looks pretty dope. Hope they add dual sense support too with haptic feedback.

    1. They are. It’s listed in the features on the steam page:
“Play with the DualSense™ controller to experience haptic feedback and dynamic trigger effects.*** Or choose mouse and keyboard – with a wide range of control customization options.”

  4. Who plays platformers or fighting games with a mouse/keyboard, seriously. I couldn’t care less if it supported or not.

    1. This game is a platformer? I could have sworn it was a third person shooter based on all the footage i saw! Also, platformers are quite simple to control with a keyboard, don’t even need a mouse, it’s unfair to lump it with 2d fighter games.

  5. Lol nixxes telling people the opposite of what ive been told for years. “Its 3rd person so a controller is fine” no, no it is not.
