Polycount’s members ‘Dave3d‘ and ‘Auldbenkenobi‘ have shared new images from their on-going projects. Dave3d is currently recreating a Gears of War scene in Unreal Engine 4, while Auldbenkenobi has finished an interior house based on Banjo Kazooie. Alas, these two projects give us an idea of what these two games would look like in Epic’s latest engine. They are really cool, so be sure to check them out!

Gears looks too shiny. Would love to see atleast second part on PC…
Fat chance. We’re more likely to see a “Trilogy/Quadrilogy with Judgment” on the Xbox One using UE4 as a learning experience for Black Tusk.
And with Unreal 3 engine games barely achieving 1080p 28fps on Xbone, how well do you think that engine is going to fair on Xbone???
Pretty good actually. Epic and crytek LOVE me. They optimize their engine’s for pc and MS products.
The same 1080P 28FPS on the Failurestation 4, shill :^)
If you want a gaming platform that has 1080P and 60FPS. We have a platform for you. It’s called PC Gaming.
So essentially somebody is working on a room that looks like something out of a Gears and Banjo game on Unreal 4. Nothing has been recreated like a game or even a game/level world/area as the title suggests.
Nice work!
Shame the rest of Gears of War has not been released on PC. The online was great. I really enjoyed Gears on PC.
