Square Enix has released the first screenshots for its upcoming remaster of NieR Replicant, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139. These screenshots will give you an idea of what you can expect from this upcoming HD remaster in terms of graphics.
NieR is a spin-off from the Drakengard series, and follows the fifth ending of the first game. Furthermore, the upcoming remaster is based on the Japanese PS3 version of NieR, titled NieR Replicant.
According to reports, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 will be more than a mere remaster. Its development team has reworked its gameplay in order to please most Automata fans. Thus, the game will feel more polished than its original version.
There is currently no ETA on when NieR Replicant Remaster will come out.

Its not a Remaster for PC because we never got this game on PC before.

They said it’s just a direct port for current gen hardware.
This is confusing. I know that the game never came to PC to begin with but the article is saying it is remaster of a console game with improvements in gameplay coming to PC.
Would it kill them to put in a decent AA option.
