  1. I saw that video earlier and was sure it was CGI. To know that it’s actual gameplay, wow.

I hope this game won’t just be planet battles. Imagine how bad a*s it would be to fight in space while some people are in X-Wings and TIE Fighters while others are infantry boarding ships.

  2. this is what you are going to get tomorrow.

The full cgi trailer of 2, maybe 3 minutes, without any gameplay.

  3. Thats is this 😀
    AMD and push for DX12_3
Maby with the consoles Next-Gen we will have CGI like in Games 😉
    Long live DX12 😀

  4. If this is in game footage then it’s way beyond the capabilities of current consoles. If DICE focused on PC first like BF3 only then they can achieve these visuals. Otherwise, no chance… That said, movie trailer was awesome.

    1. BF3 was NOT PC-first, they said that in order to appease (read: trick) fans, then kicked us in the balls right after Launch by admitting that they switched to PS-First “midway” through, but you know, conveniently “forgot” to tell us.

Besides, it’s obvious from the User Interface, the Maps, etc.

Granted it had a handful of good qualities, but overall it was just bad, even if you focus on just the Visuals. The Sun was literally the most OP Weapon in the Game, Lens Flare was ridiculous, Flashlight-Shotgun Combo’s were absurd, & that Blue Hue on everything was terrifying.

Yes, it had some great Texture work, but it at the same time they made sure the Objectives were squished close together (32-Player Maps with bigger boundaries for 64-P), thus focusing all the action around a tiny portion of the Maps themselves, rather than spreading it all out, as should have been. Many issues were repeated with BF4, so they may or may not have learned by now, hopefully in time for SWBF.

Then again, Hardline isn’t really that much better.

  5. Having a monstrous armored AT-AT thumping through a forest blasting everything in it’s path sure looks menacing. It’s large enough to make it’s own path and high enough to see everything around it.

Now…if only the Imperials would just add more armor to it’s belly and legs so no rebel with a light saber or man-eating bears with logs and stones bring them down.
