Square Enix has just released some new beautiful screenshots for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided takes place in 2029, two years after the events of Human Revolution, and continues the story of Adam Jensen, a former biotech company security chief turned super-augmented, anti-terrorist agent playing by his own rules. The game is planned for a 2016 release. Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. I hope we get better PC UI.
This will look amazing even in 2016!
My most anticipated game of 2016…. hell even 2015!
Those have bullshot written all over them.
That’s what we call bullshots.
No, that’s what we call 4K gaming… In a couple of years from now, you’re gonna sit on a 4K monitor and look back at your comment and smile over it’s naivety.
You’re naive if you think they’re not shopped. Running a game at 4K doesn’t add obvious photoshop filters like carefully hand-placed ultra high quality motion blur. Some areas look straight-up painted over, similar to Ubisoft’s Far Cry (2-4) shots.
Maybe they are just from well made cut-scenes? I checked the gameplay demo and those environmental effects and post-process effects are all there. It also looks like it’s taken from a newer build, since the interior design is slightly changed and also the HUD is changed. Screen 2, 3 and 4 must be either cut-scenes and/or gameplay where they removed the HUD via console. Your theory is not certain nor is mine, only devs/marketing team knows. 4K has a way of making things look too good to be true, so I can understand peoples reactions. On top of that, the Dawn Engine truly is impressive none the less, judging by the Tech Demo they released a while ago.
Amazing how this happens every year with a bunch of games, and there’s still idiots like you who believe it.
No, watch the tech demo. All that is in engine – it’s all there. It’s just probably scaled up and at a really high resolution. Maybe DSR ? And an insane amount of AA.
In-engine is basically a false looking game to in-game because they can do more in-engine.
And history keeps repeating itself…game X shows incredible visuals in a demo and posts bullshot promotional material, group of people defends it, game X releases and has a noticeable downgrade, part of the previous group continues defending it even though everyone can see what happened.
Rinse and repeat.
These “downgrade” assumptions for every damn game coming out is getting ridiculous. But fact is that it happens, but that doesn’t justify blaming every good looking game today. Ubisoft is a-holes that’s for sure, doesn’t mean every dev are.
Lol Ubisoft is FAR from the only developer who has done it.
And these assumptions are educated assumptions based on previous experience, it’s not just some f*cking guess people had in the morning.
CDProjekt RED, regarded as one of the best recent PC developers, did a massive one on Witcher 3.
If devs like them do it, i’ve little hope for anyone else.
Again, no. Many games look just as good if not better. Just because some games were downgraded, doesn’t mean every game is downgraded.
Making blanket statements about every game. A lot of people started doing this because of WatchDogs, The Witcher 3, The Division.
If people actually thought about this – all three of those games were revealed in 2013, before console specs were known. After console specs were revealed, they weren’t as powerful as devs hoped. All 3 of those games were then downgraded severely. That says a lot about the time and the unfortunate circumstance. Anyone can see that.
That was an understandable case. People give Ubisoft so much crap for downgrading The Division, but those same people would be pretty put off, I’m sure, if the game was running at 10 fps on console. It’s really that simple. They showed something off before they knew hardware specs, and ALL THREE had to downgrade severely.
Yawn, obvious bullshots again. Imo real screenshots look better, I don’t like the “painting” look.
Can’t wait!
