Batman: Arkham Knight – Phenomenal Cinematic Screenshots Captured Via Photomode

It’s no secret that the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight is still broken. And to be honest, we don’t know whether Rocksteady will be able to fix this mess. However, we also have to admit that at times the game can look great, especially when using its in-game Photomode. Reddit’s member ‘ultrasargent‘ has shared the following images, showing Batman: Arkham Knight at its best. As we can see, extreme amounts of motion blur and depth of field have been used. Naturally, these images are meant to showcase the game’s assets in a cinematic way, and in our opinion they look phenomenal (for what they are). Enjoy!

  1. Please define “Phenomenal” for me. Because I don’t find anything to be “phenomenal” about those shots… To me it looks like they consists of some 20%-ish character models that holds up decently by todays standards, the rest is just about 80% cheap depth of field filter… Phenomenal? Stop trolling us John 😀

    1. I second that, not to mention that photo mode allows several post processing effects to be applied to the captured screenshots so basically these are just bull shots with some night filter + motion blur and depth of field applied.

  2. too bad the quality of the engine doesn’t compare to the visuals. i guess if you wanna take pics, makes it good for something.

    1. No mate, Arkham Knight runs really nice on my GTX 970 now and looks awesome now they fixed the effects and textures. Don’t use their temporal AA because it looks really blurry to the point of the rain looks like it’s not raining so much sometimes.

  3. If these are “phenomenal” then I need to post my photos. I would be famous. (These photos are okay but NOT phenomenal)
