The first mods for WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers have appeared online, and some of them are a must for everyone playing this new Souls-like title. In this article, I’ll be sharing those I found interesting. So, let’s see how you can improve your overall gaming experience.
The first must-have mod you’ll need is this one. This mod will increase the knockout recovery. This is one of the biggest issues of WUCHANG. I don’t know how the devs released a game with such bad knockout recovery. Didn’t they play their own game before releasing it? Anyway, the mod will improve the player’s ability to recover from being knocked down. So, until Leenzee releases a patch to address it, this is THE mod you’ll have to use. Moreover, the mod slightly increases the speed of using the healing flask.
Another great mod you should try makes picking up items much faster. This is a really nice quality-of-life improvement. In the game WUCHANG, it usually takes some time for her to collect items. It’s not super slow, but it could be quicker. That’s where this mod comes in. It speeds up the animation when picking up items, whether they’re on the ground or placed higher up. You can download it from here.
As I’ve already reported, the latest patch broke the upscaling setting in the game. This is most likely a bug. But don’t worry, as you can use a mod to fix it. This mod brings back the old upscaling options. It unlocks the hidden 80–100% range on the Oversampling Resolution slider. That means you can now run the game at true native resolution again.
Since WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is a Souls-like game, it does not have any difficulties. This may discourage some players who want to play it but are not that familiar with Souls-like titles. If you are one of them, you can use this Easy Mod. There is also a mod that allows you to pause the game. This latter mod is a must for everyone. Now, you can finally pause the game to take a piss.
Another mod that some players might really like is this one. The ParryAnything Mod adds a parry system similar to the one in Sekiro. With this mod, you can block any enemy attack by parrying. If you time it right, you won’t take any damage, and the enemy will be stunned for a short time. WUCHANG already has a parry system, but it’s not as strong or flexible as the one this mod gives you.
Last but not least, there’s the Analog Movement Mod. This mod changes how your character moves with a controller. The harder you push the stick, the faster your character moves. It also lowers sprint speed and shortens dodge distance, making the controls feel more like classic Souls games. It’s a great mod for players using a gamepad who want that old-school Souls experience.
Have fun!

Not sure if "improve" is the correct word here =)
