Iron Galaxy and Naughty Dog have released Patch 1.1.2 for the PC version of The Last of Us Part I. According to the changelog, this latest update packs improvements to the game’s visuals and user experience.
Going into more details, The Last of Us Part I Patch 1.1.2 improves the blending of terrain and ground-based environmental effects like mud, debris and more throughout the game. Additionally, it corrects several in-game, menu, and text-to-speech translation errors, and fixes an issue with the DualSense wireless controller.
As always, Steam will download this latest update the next time you launch its client. And yes, this patch will trigger a full shader rebuild. Below you can also find its complete changelog.

- Improved the blending of terrain and ground-based environmental effects like mud, debris and more throughout the game.
- Corrected several in-game, menu, and text-to-speech translation errors
- Fixed an issue that caused the adaptive trigger resistance of the DualSense™ wireless controller to stop functioning if the Triangle button was also held while aiming down sights
- [The Outskirts] Fixed an issue causing the spotlight speed to increase when playing at high framerates
- [Bus Depot] Fixed a camera shake issue that could occur when traversing across the bus
Left Behind Standalone
- [Mallrats] Fixed a physics issue with a mannequin head that could block player progression when running the game at high framerates

Great to see this game being fixed up. Perfect for all the people that grab it when it’s $20 down the road. Already beat it twice on pc with no problems. Would play again

One of the most taxing PC games I’ve ever ran, but I completed the game under the last patch and was impressed.

And patch to make Tess less ugly, like in PS3 original version where she is normal looking…
In my opinion she isnt ugly in the remake, just older. The original Tess looks like in her early 30, here she is like in her early 50, the same age as joe, so more appropirate i guess
