Ninja Theory has just released the Enhanced Update for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 on PC for free. The team has also shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new patch brings to the table.
The Enhanced Update adds support for DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Gen. As such, RTX-50 series owners will be able to use MFG to boost their performance. Moreover, all RTX owners will get a better image thanks to the Transformer Model of the DLSS 4 Super Resolution.
The new patch adds a Very High graphs preset. Owners of high-end PCs can use it to further boost the game’s image quality. We also got support for Dolby Atmos for speakers and the DualSense controller. A new Enhanced Photo mode will now be available. Plus, the devs have made numerous performance improvements for the Steam Deck.
This new update also fixes a bunch of bugs. For example, it fixes a problem where Senua’s hair would turn white in some scenes. This could happen in Chapter 4, “Act of Sacrifice,” when she stepped into the light, or in Chapter 2, “Return Home,” when using Intel XeSS or AMD FSR Ultra Performance mode. The devs also fixed a bug where changing the upscaler for the first time didn’t set the quality mode correctly. Another fix makes sure that when the button mash setting is set to “Hold,” holding the button will now always work for getting up.
And that’s not all. The Enhanced Patch also fixes a bug where some objects wouldn’t have collision after skipping a cutscene with Astridr in the forest during Chapter 6. It also fixes a bug where Senua could die after climbing high ground during the first part of the Sea Giant’s ritual in Chapter 5. Now, after the 4th fight with devourers at a checkpoint, a red light will highlight Senua. Plus, there are several menu narration fixes across the board.
Like always, Steam and Microsoft Store will download this update the next time you launch their clients. Below, you can also find its complete changelog. NVIDIA owners should also download this new driver.
Stay tuned for more!
