Dying Light The Beast feature

Dying Light: The Beast Hotfix 1.2.4 Released – Full Patch Notes

Techland has released Hotfix 1.2.4 for Dying Light: The Beast and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.

Hotfix 1.2.4 fixes several visual glitches in screen space reflections (SSR). It also improves the FPS limiter and Frame Generation, making the game run much smoother. So, you should now get a better experience when using Frame Gen. On top of that, the developers fixed several crashes, which means the game should now be more stable and reliable on your PC.

And that’s not all. This hotfix also fixes several world design issues, like terrain gaps, missing objects, and out-of-world spots. It improves lighting and rain effects in different areas and adds missing environmental details, such as murals. On top of that, it fixes weapon damage display problems, corrects upgrade damage values, and fixes the scrolling issue that happened when moving items between your inventory and stash.

It’s also worth mentioning that this hotfix improves co-op gameplay by fixing problems with doors, enemies, and quest events that could stop players from progressing. It also fixes several blocked Tier 1 and Tier 2 Hidden Stashes and resolves some achievement unlock issues in co-op mode.

For those wondering, no. This update does not add the promised Ray Tracing effects. There is also no ETA on when we can expect them.

Like always, Steam will download this hotfix the next time you launch its client. Below, you can also find its complete changelog.
