Nixxes has just released Title Update 1.3 for the PC version of Death Stranding 2 and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.
Patch 1.3 fixes hitches and stutter that could occur when zooming in with sniper rifles. This is something that annoyed a lot of PC gamers. So, this is great news for everyone who is currently playing Death Stranding 2 on PC.
Moreover, this update implements a number of performance optimizations. As such, Nixxes has announced that the game is now Steam Deck verified.
It’s also worth noting that Update 1.3 fixes multiple rare crashes and improves overall stability. Therefore, the game should be more stable on your PC system. It also comes with various input and user interface-related improvements and bug fixes.
From what I know, this update does not fix the stutters that can occur during cut-scenes when using DLSS Frame Generation. This is a big bummer as the cut-scenes do not feel that smooth right now with it. Let’s hope that Nixxes will figure out a way to address this issue.
Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below, you can also find its full patch notes.
