Ground Branch – a true tactical FPS from BlackFoot – teased; Legends of Eisenwald gets a Kickstarter

Ah, time to return to the Kickstart realm. BlackFoot Studios is a small “high speed, low drag” independent studio whose goal is to fill a void in the style of games many would call ‘Classic’ tactical squad based gaming; As well as develop gaming products that cater to the “thinking gamers” of the tactical first person shooter genre. The team will start pretty soon a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming tactical FPS title, Ground Branch, and they have released a teaser trailer for it. Keep in mind that the following footage is from the game’s pre-alpha stage so yeah, it will look better than that. Sniper Elite V2 is now available on Steam

Great news for sniper fans as Sniper Elite V2 is now available on Steam. The PC version was self-published by Rebellion themselves and comes with an exclusive team deathmatch mode. Naturally, the game is still locked in some regions but this good news to all of you as the Steam version comes with a 10% discount if you pre-purchase it, as well as two extra authentic sniping weapons. Hitman: Absolution – The Art of the Kill Trailer

Square Enix has released a new trailer for the latest part of the Hitman franchise, Hitman: Absolution. In this video, the company showcases how agent 47 can deal with his enemies. Long story short, players will be able to take their enemies out silently or violently. Hitman: Absolution is slated for a 2012 release on current generation consoles and PC and looks quite promising. Let’s just hope that the AI will be sharp and challenging. Max Payne 3 – Multiplayer Downloadable Content Details Revealed

Rockstar announced today the Max Payne 3 downloadable content plans with a full lineup of multiplayer content planned for release this summer and beyond, starting with the Local Justice Map Pack coming in June. Players will also be able to order the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass to get all of the upcoming DLC at a special discounted rate, compared to purchasing each pack individually. Starting today, the Rockstar Pass can be pre-ordered for Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network from Best Buy or GameStop in the United States (or pre-ordered for PSN directly from the PlayStation Store). Portal 2 Beta DLC – 5 Minutes from the upcoming free DLC

Portal fans, here is your first look at the upcoming DLC of Portal 2. Portal 2 Perpetual Testing Initiative DLC is currently in beta phase and Valve has given the green light to all beta testers to release and share their videos from it. The following video from YouTube’s member ‘ValveTime’ is 5 minutes – in length- and shows how to use the Steam Workshop, find maps, download and rate them once you’ve completed it. In addition, you will also take a taste of some of those custom maps that are featured in the beta. SEGA announced today the launch of the Dragon War Battle Pack, a complete suite of historical battles for the award-winning PC strategy title Total War: Shogun 2. The Dragon War Battle Pack consists of six consecutively-played legendary battles from the Boshin War, depicting the campaign of the Imperial general Saigo Takamori. Previously available only with the Total War: Shogun 2 – Fall of The Samurai expansion, they can now be accessed in the original Total War: Shogun 2. Raven’s Cry – Debut Gameplay Trailer

TopWare Interactive has released today the official gameplay trailer of their upcoming pirate-themed game, Raven’s Cry. This video shows the first early gameplay footage of the pirate revenge tale. According to its press release, “Raven’s Cry” is the story of Christopher Raven, a lost soul haunted by his own inner demons as he hunts for the men who murdered his family in the 17th century Caribbean.
