Ziggurat and ININ Games have announced a remake of the underwater shoot-em-up X-Out, which will be called X-Out: Resurfaced. X-Out: Resurfaced will be coming to PC this Winter, and you can find below its debut gameplay trailer.
X-Out: Resurfaced promises to stay true to the essence of the original while introducing modern twists.
From what we know, X-Out: Resurfaced will have enhanced graphics, updated gameplay, and even more thrilling new features. The teams did not share any of the new features of this remake. However, Ziggurat claimed that X-Out: Resurfaced will make “gigantic soundwaves“.
And that is that. Right now, the Steam and GOG store pages are not live yet. So, once they go live, we’ll learn more about X-Out: Resurfaced will offer.

I couldn't recall anything about this game so I checked. It came out on the C-64 and Amiga. I had a C-64 back in 1990 but never saw anything about this game. I might give it a playthrough if it turns out well just for old times sake.
