An indie team is currently working on a SOCOM-like third-person tactical shooter, called Zero Six – Behind Enemy Lines. The game will be using Unreal Engine 4 and below you can find its first details and screenshots.

Zero Six – Behind Enemy Lines promises to combine the tactical elements from a Third Person perspective with the action-packed shooting mechanics of an FPS game. The game will feature destructible environments and a dynamic time-of-day system.

In this game, players will experience a dark and gritty story. This story will revolve around a Spec-Ops unit, which is based on the NAVY Seal Team Six.

Alongside its single-player campaign, Zero Six – Behind Enemy Lines will also feature a competitive multiplayer mode. The team claims that the game will have various tactical and team-oriented game modes.

There is currently no ETA on when the game will come out. Still, PC gamers can go ahead and sign up for its Alpha Test.

Enjoy!

      1. Yes the problem is 1) no game can seems to stand on it’s own 2 feet without using terms like, “-LIKE”, Rogue-Like, SOuls-Like <--- As if those franchises created the genre. 2) The last SOCOM was Utter Schitt. 3) Army shooters are Boring AS FUQ, i don't know why this stuff is so popular.

          1. To be honest bro, I don’t even know what it was a Clone of. More of a “Clone Of A Bad Game” ???

    1. yeah it probably will play like a game from early 2000s too – like the rest of the terrible games “inspired by”.

  1. SOCOM was a horrible game it was only popular at the time with the plebs because there wasn’t much else for them to choose from when playing online.

          1. ps2 multiplayer community was pretty small, online gaming wasnt a big thing on consoles until x360. There are only 2 socom games on ps3, one was online only and the other one was a cod ripoff.

The reason people played socom games was for the tactical gameplay not for the multiplayer.

          2. ps2 wasnt big on online, ps3 was. How was socom a mp game when only 2 of those games were on ps3 and only one of them was a dedicated mp game?
