  1. Awesome series so glad I tried it after noticing all the remasters. There are definitely some weird jap sensibilities as to what is fun and hand holding menus, lots of dialogue to click through, etc. 0,yk1, yk2, 4 and now on 5 haruka chapters, but still doing premium adventure in all of them, come back to 3 later, the foot chases are annoying camera in 3. 3 needs kiwami treatment. YK2 has amazing graphics, 3 is fugly but it gets better in 4 with 5 being up to 0-yk1 standards. Now we just need 7 to get empressed lol Hopefully 6 won’t have denuvo.

  2. “PC gamers will at least need Windows 10 version 18362.0 and an Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD FX-6300 CPU.

    The game will support DX11,”

Meaning it will run on win 7 just fine

  3. I’m still in yakuza 0 and so far i love that game.
I hope the rest in this series are just as good.

    1. 3 just needs to have a kiwami update or much better remaster it’s not bad but def for those who have played a previous game or two. 4 is definitely a go if you are a dedicated fan and 5 is a must it’s an amazing game.

      1. There’s always possibility for kenzan. The impossible one is ishin, because some controversial theme (for western) on the game…

  4. You’ll be able to play this on Windows 8.1(maybe 7 too), since the game supports DX11. The case was the same for Yakuza LAD/7. The 10 Build version requirement is genuinely dumb.

    1. i think they dont bother checking to avoid having to deal with issues on that os that htey dont want to bother to support.

    2. you can get the store app from a github if you search for it but yeah it’s just a M$ forced control thing.

    3. If you like games, you need the OS that run those games. Whine on the internet that you love Windows 7 won’t help shiet.
If we were to keep the best OS ever, we would all be running Windows 98 to this day.

      1. I like games, but i like my internet speed more (which is crappy, and more so with Win 10) so that’s why i’ll still stick with the Win 7. I’ll have Win 10 installed just in case and from the looks of it i’m not missing out on much.

        1. Just remember to block auto updates. This OS sucks on this part and will break your system with crap updates.
I’m updating manually only and just when and if is necessary.

          1. Ya i tried every trick in the book but my crappy mobile internet is just slower in Win10 no matter what i do. I guess it doesn’t affect people with good internet, or it does but it is still fast so they don’t care lol.

I notice some internet services just treat us low speed internet plebs like trash, i still have issues downloading games on Steam because if the game releases a single hotfix they will reset your download and goodbye more than 5gb of progress, at least i can still download torrents lol.

          2. “or it does but it is still fast so they don’t care lol.”
Pretty sure that this is what happens. And now that you mention it, I do notice some stutters sometimes, maybe is because of the OS? I’ll check on this.

      2. You missunderstood my point, mate… I said the obvious, the world keeps moving forward, but you have all the right to stay stoped, it’s your choice and your choice only. Me? I don’t give a flying fvck for what OS do you choose, my PC is far away from you and it’s the only PC I care about.
So keep your beloved outdated OS and be happy.

        ^^

      3. Your post is like the Win XP opening theme, memories… I wish i could have a Win XP with Directx 12 and support for Win10 games, that would be PC gaming heaven.

  5. Probably. They reportedly seem to have dumbed down the graphics with every subsequent game since introducing their Dragon Engine with Y6. Eg gradually worse lighting and shadows: Y6 > Kiwami 2 > Judgement > Y7 (Like a Dragon).

  6. Tried to play this series lots of times, it is just not for me!
You turn a corner and there’s some guys to fight you, and it’s all the same shiet over and over.
The plot is decent, but the gameplay doesn’t help.

  7. I think the title Yakuza is misleading, since Kyriu spends 90% of the franchise being ex-Yakuza, hell even in Yakuza 0 the first chapter is about Kyrio quitting the Yakuza to investigate the game’s plot of land conspiracy and clear his name.
