2K Games today announced the full set of features for WWE 2K22 and released its official announcement trailer. In addition, the publisher confirmed that the game will be coming to the PC on March 11th, 2022.
As the press release reads, the game will feature a redesigned gameplay engine, new controls and upgraded visuals. The engine promises to ensure an unprecedented level of realism for the franchise. Alongside an updated and intuitive control scheme, as well as an immersive presentation and varied camera angles, players will “feel the pressure and reward of every punch, kick, and slam.”
Popular game modes including the returning 2K Showcase – starring Rey Mysterio – incorporate new features and updates, allowing players to relive the iconic moments behind Mysterio’s most famous matches. In MyRISE, players chart their own paths to superstardom. With Universe Mode and the upgraded Creation Suite, WWE 2K22 offers players the ability to fully customize their WWE experience down to the smallest details. From taking control over brands, premium live events, match results, rivalries, and more – or creating the ultimate custom Superstar personas, arenas, and championships – players can share all their creations with the global WWE 2K22 community with first-time-ever, cross-platform sharing.
In addition, WWE 2K22 will introduce new modes to the WWE 2K experience: MyGM and MyFACTION. In MyGM, players step into the role of a WWE General Manager and call the shots on their way to building the biggest brand in the WWE Universe. With the franchise-first MyFACTION mode, players can collect and manage their dream faction with weekly events and regular updates, providing tremendous challenges and replay value.
2K Games has not confirmed whether PC will be getting the current-gen or the old-gen version. According to the press release, WWE 2K22 on PC will be priced similarly to the old-gen version. And, given 2K Games’ history, we can assume that we won’t get the PS5/Xbox Series X version.

What’s the point of them using motion capture if they cannot get weight motion right? The characters feel like they weight as much as an A4 file. Trash!

Especially in the micro-transaction department sais the 2k management while running to the bank laughing!

Add another epic fail to fukushima day and covid day etc, march 11. The fact that people believed this was real, WWE, for a long time until it was acknowleged that it is just staged drama, for money and “programming”(flaming perverts), also fits in well with other things on that day and other 11 and multiples of 11 such as 11-22-63 etc etc etc
I did not even know this was released on consoles. I thought they had skipped this year.
They did mention PC will get old gen engine, I don’t understand these companies at least they should have an option to upgrade
That would require them to export the old assets etc rather than just reuse what they got while renaming some stuff (If they even bother with that like the 2019 icon in the 2020 game…. like madden).
Most of these yearly iteration game are just lazy a*s made copy & pastes of the previous
