Bigben has announced that it has reached an agreement with Focus Home Interactive to publish and distribute Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood. Cyanide Studio, who joined the Bigben group in 2018 and who has been working on developing the game for nearly two years, remains in charge of adapting the title which comes from the World of Darkness universe.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood was first announced by Paradox Interactive and Focus Home Interactive in January 2017.
Alain Falc, Bigben’s CEO, said:
“We are thrilled to have reached this agreement which considers, in an equitable way, the different parties’ investments. This will allow Cyanide to keep the ball rolling on the game’s development and to give its numerous fans a really unique experience, in a universe that gamers are very fond of.”
Shams Jorjani, VP Business Development at Paradox Interactive, and interim manager at White Wolf, added:
“The intense action and desperate supernatural danger of Werewolf is a perfect fit for BigBen. And this is happening at the best time, because of our renewed focus on brand management and licensing. This allows us to give our partners exactly what they need to develop amazing customer experiences in their licensed products. Video games always have been a key pillar to White Wolf’s brand strategy: they’re an incredibly powerful medium for great World of Darkness stories! So, we are looking forward very much to this partnership, and to many others, in the months and years ahead.”
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is the first action-RPG game adaptation of the iconic role-playing game.
“Become Cahal, a banished werewolf, forced to return to the aid of his endangered clan and master the devastating Rage within him to punish all those that would pollute, destroy, and corrupt our Mother Earth, Gaïa. On his bloody quest for redemption, Cahal will play a pivotal role in the Great War of the Garou against Pentex, a powerful corporation whose activities are upsetting the balance of nature.”
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood targets a 2020 release date!

Yet another werewolf game. Come up with something new, video game industry.
Another? Can you name some? I honestly do not recall any games with werewolves, I remember fighting a couple of them in ” The Order 1886″ and of course Telltale’s “The Wolf among us”, and that’s it. Unfortunately the devs do not inspire confidence but I really hope for a decent game.
Yet another shill apologist who is protecting the game industry and their pro-werewolf agenda.
I’m sorry are you referring to me or the dev?!
I believe he is following the way of the ruseman.
Do not fall for his mischievous stratagems.
Sir, you have been trolled ; )
i agree. all these werewolf games are copying off of skyrim, the first game to let you play as a werewolf. pretty sure they invented it.
“All these werewolf games”? Which games exactly? Also Skyrim did not “invent” the werewolf gameplay, Morrowind had werewolves long before Skyrim and there are several werewolf games like Altered Beast.
it was a joke,lol.
Lmao, sorry the lack of emoticon through me off.
Take some time to get to know the commenters here. They are an interesting bunch of folks imo.
That is exactly what I’m doing buddy, thank you.
The last game where I can remember playing as a Werewolf was Skyrim, and that was nearly 10 years ago.
I find games with that mythical creature to being far more rare than games that feature the undead/Vampires.
Undead for sure, Vampires not so much, but unfortunately most of them are not great. Only Dying Light was an exception for me.
Aye. DL has done undead right for me as well.
Reminder that Bigben are the same as*holes who forced Denuvo in 2Dark, a kickstarted indie game that promised to release DRM-free.
Bigben, huh? May as well count a fistful of DRM in there too then. Everyone’s favourite.
