Watch Dogs feature 3

Watch_Dogs Has Gone Gold

Ubisoft has just announced that Watch_Dogs has gone Gold. This obviously means that there won’t be any additional delay, unless of course the French company pulls another AC4 last-minute delay on us.

Watch_Dogs’ creative director, Jonathan Morin, had this to say:

“It’s exciting to be gold. But it’ll be more exciting when people are playing. For the fans it means that it’s true. It means there will be no such thing as another delay. But for us, it’s not done until they actually have it in their hands.”

Lead Gameplay Designer Danny Belanger added:

“We tried to make a game that’s very scalable in the sense that it supports your play style. It supports what you want to do most of the time. And it also supports your motivation. Do you want to play a story? Do you want to drive? Do you want to shoot? Do you want to hack? Do you want to play with others? Do you want to play on a tablet? It allows players to do what they feel like, which I find really cool. There’s lots of things to explore, there’s lots of things to try. I think the greatest thing about Watch Dogs is doing what you think is fun.”

Watch_Dogs is currently scheduled for a May 27th release.

Enjoy!

      1. Supposedly it comes at 900p at 30fps, so if theyll make a patch to run in 1080p, that only means worst textures, particles, effects.

        1. AC4 patch was 1080 and didn’t affect it apparently, still sad though consoles getting patched for better resolution and better performance.

  1. Shame really, I never pay full price for games any more, could be an exception instead of waiting for GTA 5 on the PC.

    1. I think it will be an exception for me…I am gonna pre-order this!
Everything about this game appeals to me….the idea of hacking/information security breaches, the action, the characters and Chicago(my hometown in real life!)…

    2. i guess this is the thrid title i ever pre-ordered from steam, but i’m not happy with it 😀 there are too many versions of it and it’s expensive for a digital download game. the first title was ACIII and it didn’t work for me, it worked but 11fps :))

    3. Uh? Only in 2014 apart from olds indies almos 90% of my games on Steam/Uplay got them on full price.

Price is not the real problem but game quality.

      1. Watch Dogs seems like a game you can play over and over with lots of content, so yeah it’s probably worth it’s full price. Waited for Crysis 3 to go down, got it recently for £10 because it’s a short game. haha.

    1. it means they finshed it, most devs outhere dont manage to put everything they want in the game before release, when they finish it before release then its gone gold.
