It appears that the next part in the Watch_Dogs series, Watch_Dogs 3, is currently under development. According to Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, Ubisoft is indeed working on Watch_Dogs 3 and the game will be set in London.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any other information about this new Watch_Dogs game. According to rumours, Watch_Dogs 3 will be officially unveiled at E3 2019 and it may even release in 2019 (as always, take everything that is not coming from official sources with a grain of salt).
It is said that Watch_Dogs 3, and given its UK setting, will put more emphasis on hacking and less emphasis on combat with firearms and weapons. My guess is that we’ll also get new characters.

They all sucked. This one will too. Bunch of inflated hype with con artist influencers and falsely advertised “in-game” demos with doctored gameplay sold them all.
Wtf was good in the first game?
At least you could potentially believe the main character killing people left and right because he was an edgy vigilante type, but in Watch Dogs 2 they portray the main guy as some lighthearted prankster while in gameplay you’ll most likely end up committing mass murder.
The sad part is, the actual gameplay in Watch Dogs 2 was actually pretty decent. If they had gone easier on the cringe-inducing SJW stuff and made it strictly a stealth game without lethal weapons, it could have been a great game.
I feel like every Ubisoft title is cringy nowadays.
The multiplayer was great in WD1. Hacking and playing around with devices around the city was fun, if sometimes gimmicky. The basis for a great game/ series was there but WD2 drove it into the ground.

Bought Watch Dogs 2 on sale a couple months ago, it wouldn’t even start, it hangs at the first splash screen. Googled for solutions, the only thing I could find is “refund the game, Ubisoft won’t reply to people with this issue”.

Watch Dogs 3 – the mates are back
Meh… the last one was pretty soulless from trying so hard and using every stereotype they could from movies, tv, and internet personalities. The fictional “hacking” was extremely cheesy with characters being more like social media influencers and marketers who sifted the internet for the most “liked” memes to regurgitate as reposts all over the game – vs being actual hackers – which is easy to spot a mile away after working in tech for 18 years. Also the game itself extremely resource hungry given how flat and plain everything looked and animated (heavy drm me thinks).
Knowing Ubi, it will also be packed with p2w boosters (paid cheats) and mindless boring grinding/level gating like AC:Odyssey – since everyone praised that game as having “acceptable” microtransactions and being so great with it’s ONE decent main quest and filler.

People play this? I have both and uninstalled the first game after less than an hour . I wasn’t even excited from their fake E3 demo but this game was a disappointment . Like literally all ubisoft games since 2004
