inXile Entertainment has revealed that its sequel to the amazingly popular 1988 RPG Wasteland will be slightly delayed. While the game was originally meant to hit stores this month, inXile informed us that the game will be now coming in the first or the second week of September.
“It’s pretty likely that we will slip into the first or second week in September due to fulfillment of the physical goods and discs. We will give an exact date as soon as we know it.”
Wasteland 2 is the direct sequel to the first ever post-apocalyptic computer RPG. The original Wasteland was the inspiration for the FALLOUT series of games, and the first RPG to allow players to split parties for tactical considerations, to face players with moral choices, and to make them deal with the consequences of their actions.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

First Dragon age now this, i wonder what else will be delayed.
Delays seem to be the rule rather than the exception for Kickstarter games, expect Project Eternity to be delayed until next year.
As a backer, I’m glad about that actually. I want them to take their time.
I’d rather they delay and finish their game than be rushed by a publisher to throw an unfinished product on the market like what happened with Fallout: New Vegas. It’s not worth it to cut out huge chunks of content just to meet the deadline.
I know that’s not the case here but just generally speaking. Delays don’t bother me, cut content does.
Anyone know what the official price tag will be after its its out of beta.
We don’t know the price yet, but it’ll be less then the early access price.
I really hope so.
I’m ok with this delay. I just started Trails in the Sky and I still have to finish Divinity: Original Sin.
