Batman fans, we have some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that a new Batman: Arkham game is in development. The bad news is that it will be a VR game that will be released exclusively on the Meta Quest 3.
To celebrate this announcement, Warner Bros shared the following trailer. Although it doesn’t show much, it already feels like a Batman Arkham game (which is a good thing). Still, the fact it’s a VR game is kind of a bummer.
To be honest, I don’t expect much from it. I don’t expect this Batman Arkham VR game to be revolutionary. I also don’t expect it to be a “must experience” like Half-Life: Alyx is. But hey, at least we got a new Batman Arkham game, right? Right?
I’ll be curious to see a gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Shadows. Perhaps we’ll get one in September?
Anyway, at this point, there aren’t any additional details to share. Once we get them, we’ll be sure to share them with you.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!

tbf with the meta quest 2 coming down in price I’ve been more interested in getting into VR games but apart from the few indie titles and then half life alyx i feel like there aren’t enough genuine experiences to be had in VR just yet to justify the purchase. I’m still working on convincing myself to get an ultrawide during my next upgrade.
I was going to downvote, but actually instead I’d like to say that you really should give VR a try. It’s genuinely the greatest gaming experience you can have. It literally put you ‘inside” the game in a way nothing else can. I will go to bat for VR as the best technology since the smart phone. It’s genuinely unbelievable. Especially with the Quest 2 being stupidly cheap at this point. There are hundreds of games made for VR to be worth it (let alone the UEVR mod that lets you play hundreds more regular games in VR) I made a video a couple years ago about “Why VR is awesome” and talked about how people need to give it a shot. Also I’ve been streaming Fallout in VR over the past couple of weeks and it honestly is the best way to play a fallout game.
If anything, I encourage you to try it, if you value “immersion” at all, it’s the best thing you can invest in.
Woke Bros Butterman
yawn, get a life.
Target name and details?
Tell me you are dumb without telling me you are dumb.
Someone will mod it to work without vr.
yawn, not interested.
