Warframe goes open world, new video shows 17 minutes of open-world goodness

At TennoCon 2017, Digital Extremes revealed Warframe’s groundbreaking new update, Plains of Eidolon, and the introduction of Landscapes and the Ostron Civilization. Plains of Eidolon will allow players to explore, discover, fight, and fly through Warframe in a way they never have before.

In the Plains of Eidolon players will set foot in a Landscape larger than anything they’ve seen in Warframe – and they will be free to explore it on their own terms. Players will be able to summon their Archwing at will for air travel and battle, and experience the great outdoors as they hunt resources in the rivers and streams. Moreover, Plains of Eidolon will feature a dynamic day/night cycle.

Below you can find a video, showing 17 minutes of gameplay footage from Warframe’s Plains of Eidolon update.

Enjoy!
