RealityArts announced today that Voidrunner, a surreal flight combat FPS game, will soon be launched on Close Beta via Steam. In order to celebrate this announcement, RealityArts released a gameplay trailer for Voidrunner that can be viewed below.
Voidrunner promises to combine First Person Shooter controls with flight dynamics. According to the developers, this will give players a smooth, easy and fun gaming experience. Because it’s not a simulation, Voidrunner promises high adrenaline combat experience seen in FPS games.
The game uses the latest version of Unreal Engine 4 and will fully support Virtual Reality devices with VR controllers in Open Beta.
Voidrunner is planned to be launched on Close Beta at the end of July.
Enjoy!

The movement feels a bit stiff for my taste. Signed up for the closed beta anyways, who knows? ¯_(?)_/¯
Game looks ok but…I don’t like the movement
Agreed, completely weightless ships that twist and turn without any delay just looks wrong and not very fun
Exactly!
I was about to throw up 20 seconds into the video.. No thanks. I wouldn’t even call that “movement”.. Can’t believe they’re in closed-beta with it at that state.
Why is it too fast?no fluidity..
Finally playable soon, I’ve been waiting for this game since its was announced on Steam Greenlight early last year.
Signed up, because why not ? lol . It does seem to be more in the Star Fox Panzer Dragoon school of movement, not anywhere near simulation, but thats cool too. Also cool to see the VR support, although don’t think implementing 3D motion controls make sense for a game like this, either just a gamepad or hotas setup would work just fine
