Fallout 4 fans, here is something for you today. Modder ‘Hein84’ has collected all of his Vivid texture packs for Fallout 4. Vivid Fallout is an overhaul of all landscape textures, trees, rocks, roads, bridges and some concrete stuff.
Hein84 is offering a number of different versions of his collection. Players can download the Best Choice version that combines textures to provide the best look and the best performance or download the Best Performance. There are also 1K, 2K and 4K versions of this collection (so download the 4K if your PC can handle them).
What’s really cool here is that the modder has provided some before/after screenshots so you can see for yourselves whether it’s worth downloading this collection.
Those interested can download Vivid Fallout 4 from here.
Enjoy!

Awesome, looks really nice.
Vanilla looks better. This mod is just Normal mapping cranked to 200% with oversharpen textures.
What? you’re clearly not very perceptive. Many textures add new rust, trash, features, and detail that simply isn’t present in the originals.
Some of the building even have completely different brick types designed to add more pop to them. How you can you not see this stuff?
Looks bad. Its like they’ve taken vanilla textures and added really heavy normal mapping. The glass doesn’t even look flat anymore. The sand looks decent but I don’t think its right for it. I’d rather use vanilla.
vanilla is way better.

Pretty sure most of the comments below are just trolls, these are clearly different textures and not just cranked up normals (with the exception of a few)
Indeed. The game looks way better with this superb and very extensive textures pack installed. It, with the addition of a few other texture mods, also make the official 58GB textures pack from Bethesda unnecessary which is a bonus for saving SSD space. The textures of the vanilla game appear very bland, washed out and low resolution in comparison.
And they take up an absurd amount of Vram.
I dot think vanila looks better, lol, now it doesnt but this is pretty selective in what surfaces were enchanced and the size is insane for the final result, not to mention perfomance.
vanilla is way better.
More like: Maximum Plastic Edition mod…
But you have Reshade 😉
The Mod is just Great.

The more I look at Vanilla F4, the more I realise it was nothing more than a buggy mess of low rate garbage.
Having played the Metro series a second time, that series honestly feels more like a Fallout series than Fallout itself.
This mod would look so much better if he just turned down the normal map strength.
why people still care and this and skyrim mods? game is ok
Now…….does this address the horrendous performance issues plaguing this game. Mainly that st-st-st-stuffer that’s been there since day one….?.?
Nice, when you play on a laptop with a gt 745m you need all the performance you can get, nice to see a mod get updated. too bad i’ve really done all F4 has to offer.
