Massive Entertainment has announced that the first update for Tom Clancy’s The Division will be released next week. Although the team did not reveal its changelog, it claimed that more information about this first patch will be revealed very soon.
As Massive Entertainment stated:
“The game may have just released but we already have a new update for you to dive into! This will be in your hands next week and fear not, more information about it will be revealed very soon so keep your eyes peeled.”
We’ll be sure to share the changelog as soon as we get our hands on it.
In addition, Ubisoft revealed that Tom Clancy’s The Division is its best-selling game to date, and that it generated $330 million globally in its first five days (according to GFK Chart-Track, first parties, retail customer sell-through and internal estimates).
For what is worth – and while we don’t have any UPLAY numbers – the game has sold 570K copies on Steam (according to SteamSpy’s stats).

The actual game world is incredible, immerse and a great PC version, probably the best open world yet but the gameplay is typical Ubisoft. Story missions are ok it’s just the side missions are mostly the same. I have actually put more time into the game than I thought, enemies get a bit more interesting in the higher level areas, lots of loot and wearable items to pick from. The base is a nice touch, it’s ever changing and whenever you go into the base it has different people in the different parts of the areas.
I would have liked to see more variation in the enemies, like mutated people or enemies, it’s one of the things that makes the game feel dull and somewhat boring, generic.

Division is a decent game which i’m enjoying a fair bit, yes it’s graphics where downgraded, big whoop!

Maybe on the Steam Xmas sale, still on the fence about this one.
Get Black Desert Online instead if you’re into MMO type games, it has vastly more depth and half the price of the Division. BDO has no loading screens(except the initial one which doesn’t take long), The Division has terrible loading times even on a SSD.
Game looks great so far from what I’ve seen. Will pick up the Gold Edition once I’m done with my backlog.
