Ubisoft announced that the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Skull Rain update will be available on August 2nd. In order to celebrate this announcement, Ubisoft released a new trailer for this upcoming update of Rainbow Six: Siege that can be viewed below.
As the press release reads, Skull Rain includes a new Favela map, the most destructible environment to date, and introduces two new BOPE operators: Caveira and Capitão.
“Caveira is a ruthless interrogator who uses her stealth technique, the Silent Step, to sneak up on her targets undetected. Capitão is armed with a tactical crossbow which can fire lethal asphyxiating bolts and micro grenades that allow for quick and unexpected attacks.”
Starting August 2nd, the Favela map will be available for all players, and Season Pass holders will instantly receive the new BOPE operators. Non-Season Pass owners can unlock the operators with Renown or R6 credits starting August 9th.

Can’t wait. Looks awesome.
Can’t wait! I’ve had much fun recently.
I like the game much, it’s juicy and exciting, especially thanks to the sound design. However, I don’t like how they keep on adding more and more tacticool things along with new commandos.
ths game has always been tacticool. Every operator has some lame ability to score skillless frags. Less gimmicks, More gun on gun pls.
F*cking C4 junkies.
This one doesn’t bother me. Traps are cool. And C4 is really fun to play around with in those destructible environments. I don’t like such gimmicks as shields mounted on guns or futuristic sticky cameras, though.
Ah right, the new SEAL Operator.
Hey, you got a thing with f*cking Suicide Bomber NPC’s running towards you & constantly *ssraping you too? I swear, they have it out for me.
No seriously, it’s just constant kamikaze action with me, it’s unbelievable.
If you mean NPC’s from Terrorist Hunt, then I didn’t experience such things, I didn’t really play R6:S in PvE.
Bah! 😛
Hopefully the “over 50+ improvements” includes more Netcode fixes, because I am seriously tired of seeing “Error GoF*ckYourself – the Host has sent you to Hell.”
Now I really want all errors in games to contain swearing.
I’ve seen the damn thing so many times, I think it might as well be saying “GoF*ckYourself” 🙁
get a better isp, tbh fam, i have only ever seen people complain about netcode issues from third world countries and dsl users……
My country’s ISP’s are all sh*t, so not much in the way of real choices, unfortunately.
Interesting though, I figured it wasn’t an ISP issue since I have sub-100 Ping, but maybe. I suppose I should look into it then.
