This 3.5GB HD Texture Pack for Devil May Cry 3 upscales all of its textures, available for download

Modder ‘pepodmc’ has released a must-have HD Texture Pack for Devil May Cry 3 HD Collection. The modder used AI techniques in order to improve and overhaul all of the game’s textures. This pack is 3.5GB in size and is available for download.

In some situations, the modder used entirely new textures using ones from Devil May Cry 4. Moreover, some rooms can look better than others, and sometimes the visual improvements are not that great. Still, the newly improved textures have less noise and are of a higher quality than those found in the vanilla version.

However, we should also note that there are some changes in terms of color saturation, fog layer and brightness in some scenes. For the most part, though, the modder has tried to stay true to the game’s aesthetics.

Last but not least, the resolution of the textures in this pack varies from 500×500 to 2000×2000. Moreover, all of the textures have mipmaps applied for less aliasing.

    1. If it wasn’t for consoles there would never been a devil may cry game. Imagine needing a 3.5gb texture pack to enjoy a game. Don’t you have to go cry about steam games going to epic stores or something, I though you master race folk were all upset about it?

  2. Shame the modder was a bit lazy and reused the same textures for different assets, losing variation in the process, look at the brick walls and pillars for example.

I saw, but apart from textures not matching the color or the proportions of the original textures, some textures have been reused without mayor changes, I know, been there, I know there’s thousands of textures and it’s a lot of work, but that’s why the guys of Resident evil 4 retexture mod are taking years to finish it, to do it right they must respect the original art direction of the game and textures, only in some cases the original is wrong or badly placed, then you are allowed to improve it, always considering the textures around so it doesn’t look out of place.

    1. nononononoono we dont want to end up with something resembling the last god of war. They already changed the camera in re2 remake, leave it as is.

  3. Menu only for Spanish lang… Typical Spanish/Maxican whatever dude.
    It’s 2020 no one cares that you’re Spanish speaking, English is international language #1 in real and virtual world, hate those snakes.

    1. well… when USA people make hacks , a lot of times are for US versions only even having multilanguaje versions with no extra effort needed, if you want the menus upscaled, its not difficult to make it yourself, the thing here are the textures of the stages.
      Even if USA people like to think that, you are not the center of the world XD
