The Sims 4 – Recommended PC Requirements Revealed

Electronic Arts and Maxis have revealed the recommended PC requirements for The Sims 4. According to the game’s official FAQ, PC gamers will need an Intel Core i5 or faster or AMD Athlon X4 and an NVIDIA GTX 650 GPU (or better) in order to properly enjoy this new sim. Yeap, these are pretty high requirements for a ‘The Sims’ game. You can view the full list below!

-REQUIRED: Internet connection required for product activation.
-OS: 64 Bit Windows 7,8, or 8.1
-PROCESSOR: Intel core i5 or faster
-AMD Athlon X4
-MEMORY: 4GB RAM 
-HARD DRIVE: At least 9 GB of free space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content and saved games
-DVD-ROM: DVD ROM drive required for installation only
-VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX 650 or better
-SOUND CARD: DirectX 9.0c Compatible
-DIRECTX: DirectX 9.0c compatible
-INPUT: Keyboard and Mouse

  1. They have forgotten the most important one: All of your f’ing money for the inevitable DLCs that should have been included in the sodding game to begin with.

  2. Sounds like bad optimization. Just like with SimCity. The game’s graphics look rather poor to say the least – worse than The Sims 3.
    Maxis is EA’s Bethesda, only worse.

  3. So many features will not be in this game . They always come up with stupid excuses . We all know they’ll sell them later as DLCs or Expansion packs .

    at least 20 more GB for additional space for DLCs and 200$ more for contents that were deleted

  5. Its EA so its time to skip just like with homo Dragons Age 3. (Wish it gets banned in Russia for sick homo subject matters)
