Obsidian has shared the minimum PC system requirements for The Outer Worlds 2. The game will come out on October 29th, so let’s see what you’ll need to run it.
The Outer Worlds 2 is the sequel to the award-winning first-person sci-fi RPG. In this game, you play as a brave agent from Earth. Strange rifts are tearing things apart, and it’s your job to find out why. Your search takes you to Arcadia, the place where skip drive technology was created. What happens to the colony, and even the whole galaxy, depends on the choices you make, the people you trust, and the team you lead.
Players will be able to create a character that fits how they like to play. Every choice you make will change the story, and the colony will react to what you do. You can be smart and careful, peaceful and kind, wild and chaotic—or anything in between. And yes, you can choose to play as someone who isn’t very smart, too.
PC gamers will at least need an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or Intel i5-8400 with 16GB of RAM and an AMD RX 5700, an Nvidia GTX 1070, or an Intel Arc A580. The game will also require 110GB of free disk space, and it will use the DX12 API. From what I can see, Microsoft has not listed Denuvo. So, we can safely assume that the game won’t use it.
Sadly, the devs have not listed the resolution, framerate, and graphics settings these PC minimum specs target. The Outer Worlds 2 will be using Unreal Engine 5. So, expect it to run similarly to all recent UE5 games.
Stay tuned for more!

Nice try losers.
Get that, out-dated looking, abomination of a game out of here.
Woah, whats with the negativity? How about you build a game and then be qualified to make that statement?
i for one i am tired of modern trash broken games that run like crap and take 1/10th of your available space.
This has been going on for decades. Nothing new there.
Bu güzel bilgilendirmeler için teşekkür ederim.
Loved the first game, so looking forward to this..
Considering this almost has to be optimized to run on series s, I kind of expect it to be less bad with optimization compared to other UE5 titles. Im going to be more concerned about the story but at least it'll be on gamepass so i dont have to pay $80 for it.
Really didn't enjoy the first one, the studio that made FNV is long gone. This is the studio that made avowed so firm pass for me, no loss to gaming.
