  1. Says “mostly positive on Steam, but since it’s a Japanese game, i’ll be waiting to see the written reviews that actually point out the flaws, rather than the starved weebs who give anything Japanese a free pass.

    1. Some issues with the preload and the DLC not activating, it seems
Games great though, its a really nice buy and has the biger rooster of all the most recent fighting games.

    2. You mean technical flaws or game itself?
      Flaws:
New characters are mostly a combination of the most used to tiredness cliches, the booby latina, the pirate ninja, the quiet butler and the chinese loli.
Autocombo with combination of two level SDM can deal until 450 of damage.
No more requisites to cancel a special movement with a SDM than having at least one bar special. XI had ability bar and XIII drive cancel bar but no more.
Broken 100% combos with 4-5 bars. Nothing like seeing your character being a punching bag with nothing else to do than dropping your joystick and going bathroom.

I do love the franchise but buying the game in such state would means devs can actually keep “nerfing” the gameplay for the newcomers, and making it way more bored to play and watch…

PS: I forgot to say that I hate camera angle changes in the middle of the fight and this game take it to a next level, a more annoying level.

  2. Great exclusivity deal with Sony there, SNK. Not only prevented ya from capitalizing on having the first modern “bigger budget” fighter right after SFV’s controversial release left people wanting for something else, but now it also got ya stuck releasing right after Tekken 7’s surprisingly great port took Steam by storm.

Then again, looking at how they’re also still eager to exploit paying customers by expecting them to pay 20 bucks for a dlc pack that released on PS4 ages ago, they might just deserve what’s coming to them here.

  3. 49.99$ for a one year old game that looks much worst than tekken 7, visually and gameplay wise. If the game would have release at the same time that PS4 maybe the story would be different BUT Tekken 7 and Guilty Gear Revelator 2 were already there. 2 little 2 late SNK.
