Ubisoft has just revealed the official PC requirements for The Crew 2, as well as its key features. The PC version of The Crew 2 will feature support for driving wheels, 4K and Ultra-wide 21:9 aspect monitors, mouse and keyboard, input device auto-switch and extended gamepad support (DirectInput/XInput), multi-monitor support (up to three monitors), auto-setting detection, video presets, and custom options.
PC gamers will need at least an Intel Core i5-2400s or an AMD FX-6100 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD HD 7870 in order to play the game on Low settings at 1080p with 30fps. For High settings at 1080p and 30fps, Ubisoft recommends an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or an AMD R9 270X.
For High settings at 1080p with 60fps, the French company recommends an Intel Core i5-4690k or an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or GTX 970 or AMD RX 470.

– Window modes (exclusive full-screen, classic window, and borderless full-screen)
– FPS limit, up to 60 FPS
– V-Sync on/off
– Video Presets & customized values:
– Geometry: Set the view distance details.
- Shadows: Set the resolution and quality of all shadows in the game.
- Textures: Set the quality of in-game textures. Game restart is required to apply changes.
- Environment Mapping: Set the quality and the resolution of realtime reflection and indirect lighting.

- Screen space reflection: SSR allows even more improvements to Environment Mapping by using some parts of the rendered image if possible. The player can choose SSR quality or disable it for low-end machines.
- Weather: Set the quality of weather effects in the game.
- Terrain: Terrain quality settings can allow more details in medium and far view.
- 3-Monitor FOV scale factor: If the player uses a 3-monitor configuration, this value allows them to adjust the focus level of the monitor in the middle and corrects potential FOV deformation because of the unusual aspect ration.

Glad to see Sys Reqs that actually show resolution and framerate in their specs.
Yeah, but there is nothing new in this, because I’ve seen similar system Specs listed for few other games as well, can’t recall the name of the titles though.
In my opinion, these are just the basic requirements based on the Hardware used, and it’s not always necessary the Game will have that frame rate target on all systems, i.e. 30 or 60 FPS cap, on any set resolution.
That’s a set target. The game engine might be capped at 60 fps.
But yes, these DEVs have properly mentioned all this in the system requirements, and it seems this game is also a decent PC port, from the looks of the Graphics Settings and options posted above.
Lot of options to tweak, but sadly I’m NOT into this Gaming genre, i.e. Racing.
I imagine this game’s sales tanking really hard.
Wasted money on soulless game
I always ask myself who’s buying this game, but then I figure it comes out during Christmas and parents buy what ever they see on the shelf.
True
I’d be surprised if this does well, although its great to see that Ubisoft is now supporting 21:9 in all of their new releases.
I’m aware of that channel however, as I stated in his comments section 21:9 is absolutely fine in FC5 the only issues are the weapon FOV and pillar boxed cut scenes.
I played the game all the way through on an ultra wide with an fov of 110 and it was great. People give silly Youtubers too much credit and he has been wrong about quite a few games. I have even posted fixes and corrections to his info in the past.
Good decision. To be honest my next monitor will be 16:9 because as much as I like the Ultra Wide resolution when supported, I am also fed up with messing about with settings. I previously used a 40″ 4k screen which if I’m totally honest I preferred. But driving 4k is very demanding hence the switch to UW. Although I could never go back to a screen without G-Sync now.
Why so much hate for this brilliant game? Open world USA arcade racing is a dream game. Better than boring simulations.
Boring simulators? you mean those multi million copy selling boring simulators? Are you still stuck in beginner mode with the auto brake still on?
I prefer racing real cars, but I have nothing against wither simulators or arcade racers. They are both fun!
They’re good only if you have proper racing wheel and only if you’re OK with track racing set in rural areas.
I prefer urban open world areas tho.
I played both Closed Alpha phases and the game ran pretty well (at 1080p) and looks great. (FX8350 @4.2, 16GB RAM, GTX970)
Not sure if I’m still under NDA so I won’t say more. 😉
Is this multiplayer only again??
