Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown PC Demo Available for Download

Now here is a pleasant surprise. NACON has just released a PC demo for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. This demo is available right now on Steam, and it will let you get your hands on this upcoming open-world racing game.

Hilariously enough, NACON and KT Racing haven’t yet shared the game’s PC system requirements. We also don’t know whether the game will support NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR or Intel XeSS. Heh, I guess we’ll have to look at the demo’s PC settings to find out.

The demo will be available until the Steam Next Fest ends on June 17 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. In other words, you won’t be able to download and play it on June 18th.

It’s also worth noting that the PC demo will not have a time limit. Moreover, it will feature “carefully curated content” designed to give players an idea of what the full game has to offer. It will have 9 out of 14 districts, the first 15 levels of progressions, 16 cars available for purchase, 22 additional cars available for Test Drive, 27 races, as well as Streets and Sharps clan HQs.

You can go ahead and download the demo from Steam.

NACON will release Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown on September 12th.

Enjoy!

  1. I was looking forward to Test Drive Solar Crown but in all seriousness the game is cooked and DOA. Downloaded and….Bland, soul less, and looks very very very bad for the VRAM it's pulling, many of the rendered models are trash, physics suck hard.

Demo is out, but I wouldn't bother. Just wait for all the video's to come out before wasting time downloading and suffering.

    1. Exactly what I/could be expected, ha, and look at the article, sys reqs not even disclosed? 🤣 What a catastrophe.

  2. To play the demo you are forced to create a NACON account… There is no demo for PS5, Xbox Series that's already a RED FLAG.

Optimization is bad… With RTX 4090 + i9 13900K on max settings and 3440×1440 game lags, freezes and drops below 30fps… In empty areas renders at 45-75 fps LOL.
Game looks very OUTDATED, looks close to The Crew 1.
Game is very unbalanced, AI is RNG, but mostly they are driving Gods.
What is most important, i.e. the driving model, you can feel the mass of cars, it has potential.
