Tekken 8 Gets PC Requirements, Requires 100GB of Free Space

Bandai Namco has revealed the official PC system requirements for Tekken 8 via Steam. And, prepare your SSDs and HDDs everyone as the game will require 100GB of free space.

For running this upcoming fighting game, PC gamers will need at least an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with 8GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti or an AMD Radeon R9 380X.

Bandai Namco recommends using an Intel Core i7-7700K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with 16GB. The developers have also listed the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 and the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT as the recommended GPUs.

An interesting note is that, according to Bandai Namco, the game’s frame rate may drop when other applications are running in the background. This applies to multiple games, and not only to Tekken 8. Still, this is the first time we’ve seen this included in a game’s PC requirements.

Tekken 8 will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. And, while its first beta build suffered from shader compilation stutters, we can confirm that Bandai Namco has fixed them.

Tekken 8 will be released in January 2024, and it will not be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

Stay tuned for more!

    1. The way it looks it would be crime to ask for a better hardware. Tekken 7 recommended GTX 1060 or higher and this one does not look like it’s a huge leap in presentation. At least to me it doesn’t look that much better unless it’s more of the artistic design that is bad and therefore makes it look not that impressive as I personally think the characters are stupidly overdesigned compared to previous titles.

    1. Yeah IKR, I look at sh*t like this and I’m baffled. It does look good, but for what is basically a couple stages and characters this size is ridiculous, MK is on the same boat. That is why I respect ArcySys, you might not like their games but they`re good looking while only taking up to 25GBs.

      1. there is no way to submit news other than what i am doing and i have been doing these for years, links cannot be seen by anyone they have to be approved first, you are seeing this because it was approved so ask john why he allows these posts.

  1. The PC Req is not bad considering this game is only on the latest Gen of consoles. UE engine loves taking up space. No shock since MK1 takes up 106 gig currently

  2. What a bloatware… RTX card for non RT game with 2.5D camera, two characters and some background lol.
UE5 bumps up system req for default with no reason behind.

  3. Hi, I think that I saw you visited my web site, so I came to return the favor. I am attempting to find things to improve my web site! I suppose it’s okay to use some of your ideas!!
