60 GB available space for a fighting game dafoq is this $#!t?!!!
well story mode, cool character costume, 4k texture and more……… that I wanted to say but actually they just making game size bigger so pirate can’t download it I guess.
lolz
“they just making game size bigger so pirate can’t download it I guess” this is the only reason i think, but at the same time they hurt us too. They need to give us the options to download only what we want.
I don’t get the logic! What does it accomplish? Even if the pirates can’t download it’s not going to make them buy or something!
Probably just lazy to compress.
doubt if its for pirates, pirates that cant download huge files will go for repacks. that are most of the time half the size of full game without anything cut.
Titanfall’s devs posted a supremely sketchy story about PCs not having the CPU power to handle decompression of assets, explaining why Titanfall on Xbone was >2x smaller than the PC version.
While the theory that it was a half-baked anti-piracy measure might not be the explanation (in total or in part), it is more plausible than the official explanation, which reads like Will Smith trying to explain a swamp gas explosion on Venus in Men in Black lol.
really, would love to read that, even low current low end pc CPUs are better thn xbox’s mobile jaguar.
I actually think that the nature of these games is the true piracy stopper. If someone gets this game illegally they will want to buy it to play with others. It is a fighting game. Who doesn’t want to go online and have at it?
Just my 2 cents
I’ve noticed the trend towards making games bigger than what they seem they should be. I wonder if it’s a marketing thing to make some potential customers think that there must be a lot in this game if it’s so big.
Most likely they’re just not compressed in the least, really.
F*cking Blu-Rays.
Probably just the 4K thing, really. Take Rainbow Six: Siege, for example; if you just download the normal game, it’s about 30GBs. Big, but not the biggest criminal. Throw in the 4K “Ultra HD” Texture Pack, & suddenly it skips all the way over to 60GB.
So, either they didn’t bother to compress the Texture Pack, or 4K is just THAT big. I really can’t tell either way, right now.
“unless Bugthesda knew that Denuvo’s claims of protection were a farce going in.”
Maybe ZeniMax decided to double-up, just in case? But yeah, more likely they just didn’t want to pay up for compression services.

I assume that recommended are for 4K60fps? (at least 1440p60fps) Gtx1060 is eating PS4, Xbox 1 for breakfast.
Simply not polished well 😉
I smell performance problems, some sttuter fest with streaming assets problem ;]
The PS4 version is a lowly 900p, lol.

A GTX 1060 recommended requirement just to play a fighting game! That had better be for 4K/60.
Looks good. I remember playing Tekken Tag in the arcade and playing as the kick-happy Tae Kwon Do guy. I don’t remember his name, though. Awesome that all of these fighting games are making it to PC.
Now if only the frickin’ timed exclusive period can end on Injustice 2 so Ed Boon can announce the PC version. If they don’t announce it within 6 months I’ll be forced to buy a used PS4 on Amazon to play that one game.
Won’t be that long, but if it is, look at the bright side; we’re getting the edition that has all the DLC shoved in, baseline ^^
Not to mention the patches……. Ugh.
The 1060 could be just marketing to get people off their 970’s… lol
so true, i think 970 OC better too since they have unlocked voltage compare to locked pascal.
Rather shocked. The requirements seem quite reasonable. If the performance analyses confirm some good news then this will be my first run with an Unreal Engine 4 game. So please DSOGaming; try to prep an analysis on this title…
MY RYZEN 1700 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHZ GTX 970 WILL RUN IT MAXED 1440P 60 FPS!
oh god can we turn off the god awful chromatic aberration and lol at those high detailed models and sh–t looking environment
