Tekken 7 feature 2

Tekken 7 has sold over 3 million copies worldwide on all platforms

Katsuhiro Harada has announced that Tekken 7 has sold over 3 million copies worldwide on all platforms, and that the Tekken franchise has sold 47 million copies in total. According to Harada, this was achieved prior to the release of the game’s second year, which explains why Anna and Lei were not included in the following image.

Tekken 7 is one of the best fighting games, at least in my opinion. Not only that, but it’s one of the most beautiful fighting games, especially on the PC. It also runs great, which is another plus in my book, though it would have been cool if the game supported cross-play between PC and PS4 (or PC and Xbox One).

Unfortunately, though, this game – like most fighting games these days – is plagued by numerous characters that are behind a paywall (DLC). Truth be told, the game did release with a great roster, so that’s something at least.

  1. You know why it’s successful? because the publishers didn’t go full Usury on this one
No microtransactions, great graphics, campaign and replayability

the only negative i can think of is the DLC pricing, they’re absolutely absurd and they offer very little for the asking price, but other than that, it was a great f**king game.
