Sunset Overdrive reported to be coming to the PC

NeoGAF’s industry insider ‘Enter the Dragon Punch’ has claimed that Sunset Overdrive is coming to the PC. Enter the Dragon Punch can be considered a trusty source for such leaks as he has already proved his credibility in the past (by leaking a number of games).

As ‘Enter the Dragon Punch’ wrote when a NeoGAF member wondered whether it was worth keeping an Xbox One console:

“Sunset Overdrive is coming to PC, so whatever. Keep it for MCC, otherwise sell it.”

When asked about it, Enter the Dragon Punch said that this information comes from a “very, very solid source.”

We expect Microsoft to reveal the PC version of Sunset Overdrive during either its E3 press conference or the PC Gaming E3 Show.

Stay tuned for more and kudos to our reader ‘Inhuman0’ for bringing this to our attention!

    1. Nope, the sales picked up, but like all xbone exlusives they did not become a hit, take your pick, halo 5 being 3 hours or so and average. masterchief collection being utterly broken, project spark shutting down, rise and dead rising 3 flopping, did quantum break even come out? It did? Weird the sky did fall, they must have hyped it too much.

    1. Well it is colorful and does not take it self seriously why it is full of references and encourages constant movement. That is about it, if you dont care about these things, there is nothing to be found there.

    2. Nah, it’s load of fun. I got it for $40 and definitely enjoyed my experience (especially the co-op). My only thing was I wish the Story was co-op as well.

  1. People constantly hate on MS but from what I’m hearing, just about everyone X1 game is coming to W10 as well.

Apple, Valve and etc have their own store front where you can’t buy anything anywhere else and MS is trying to do that as well (I don’t blame them, it’s a smart business move).

Once MS finally nails down the W10 store, UWP, mods, customization and show some more of that cloud computing (which Crackdown is the ONLY game that I’ve seen use it in a viable way), they might have something really special going on. For Xbox and PC.

    1. “just about everyone X1 game is coming to W10 as well.”

They have a long way until every X1 game out right now is on PC as well.

    2. According to one theory, there are infinite realities in existence. If that’s the case, there’s a reality out there where Xbox One didn’t sell like sh*t, & so Microsoft didn’t feel pressured to make up for lost money with PC Ports of their actually good Xbox games.

As for Apple & Valve – no. Valve doesn’t have exclusivity contracts, they just don’t sell their own products anywhere else, & the App Store is just Apple’s version of Steam, for OS X – it gives you a place to safely go shopping for OS X Software instead of digging through Google Search results for semi-obscure semi-trustworthy software that’s not made by Apple or some other infamous company like Adobe or Microsoft, & hence doesn’t have a massive advertising budget attached to it.

    3. Please, don’t even compare a shipped store front in Windows 10 on a Monopolistic, anti-consumer OS to Steam. You can only buy XB1 games from Windows store and on Windows 10, do you even get it?

    4. Why? because xone sucks so does ms. They dont do it because they are nice, they like money and aside from windows and x360 which got the sales due to ps3 being too expensive, money does not like them.

  2. that sounded interesting the first day it was announced on xbox, and honestly i was kinda sad knowing wouldn’t be possible to play it on pc. Will see, there’s always M$ damn store in the middle

  3. Same source confirms later in the thread (post 166) that it’s UWP only. There goes my purchase.

      1. U – universal:

        – shared code between PC and Xbox
        – cross buy
        – cross play
        – shared achivements between PC and Xbox
        – shared list of friends
        – etc

I hope that some day all games on Xbox and PC will be cross buy and cross play thanks to UWP

      1. You’re hilarious. His gaming will be fine. Many devs will see releasing on windows 10 only is a bad idea for sales.

        1. Why? If game is only for Windows 10 then Windows Store is better choice than Steam. Steam is more expensive and don’t support local currency in many countries. Windows Store have local currency in any country.

          1. “Steam is more expensive”

That completely depends on where you are located. ROTTR is the same price on the window store and steam for me. Quantum Break is £45 but the rrp for Steam games are typically £30.

        2. if you dont up grade you will be left behind..let me guess you support vulkan like nvidia is now trying to so you dont have to upgrade?…lol

the future of gaming is win 10 dx12 not vulkan thats why publishers are starting to side with amd over nvidia because of async compute.

          but have fun bye bye.

          1. actually vulkan is getting a ton of support from dev teams, bethesda and ID being just 2 big names. Vulkan is going to be used as an open source where a lot of companies are seeing dx12 as a microsoft only, closed garden API which it pretty much is. UWP will fail just like GFWL did and hopefully dx12 will either be open source like it was said to be or itll die with UWP, either is fine with me, vulkan gets better performance anyway according to a lot of tech sites that got to play with it and isnt locked behind UWP. DOOM is getting a vulkan injection soon and that will be fun to test on my fury x rig and my 980ti rig to see how it goes for team green and red.

          2. “actually vulkan is getting a ton of support from dev teams, bethesda and ID being just 2 big names”

No to so fast. Bethesda and ID Software is “one name” because ID Software is part of Bethesda (zenimax). In last 20 years ID software was only one developer using OpenGL and now Vulkan. Others developers always choose DirectX.

          3. Yes, but Bethesda Softworks & id Software while technically owned by the same company (ZeniMax Media) each use their own brand of development software, & by extension basically operate as two completely separate entities, save for id using Bethesda’s publishing networks, because why not.

Bethesda uses the Creation Engine, which, as sh*t as it may look, is technically a major engine due to Bethesda’s vast RPG fanbase, & id Software uses the id Tech series engines, which have, yes, historically supported OpenGL for nigh on decades now.

All this to say, id Software could easily have continued to support the Khronos Groups’ GL software without Bethesda themselves ever supporting them in turn in their own Creation Engine.

Unless of course ZeniMax is going the way of EA, centralising all their studios around one single Engine series (in EA’s case, the DICE Frostbite Engine), but since there’s no proof of that happening (yet), my argument currently stands.

          4. yes in the past theyve always gone directx but now that nvidia and intel are jumping on vulkan support, it has gained a lot of momentum and like i said with dx12 being essentially owned by UWP its not very popular with the pc community, uwp is an assault on what pc gaming is, not to mention its just horrendous on a basic level. compared to steam its a joke, even origin and uplay are better than UWP.

          5. You do know the gtx1080 does async compute right and is full dx12.1 compliment.

          1. Oh, Microsoft said that?

Well, in that case I suppose we should just take them at their word, even with all the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, eh?

Because, why not? What’s the worse that could happen? Oh, wait…….

    1. For me Windows Store is better than Steam because in my country Steam doesn’t support local currency. Steam is at least 2x more expensive than any local retail shop.

        1. For me Windows Store is better than GOG. “Gog Galaxy” is trash compare it to Xbox App on Windows.

          1. Galaxy is in beta, and even then it doesn’t break basic features like exclusive fullscreen, overlays and .dll injections. And you really trust Microsoft’s draconian DRM after the disaster of GFWL? You’ve got to be a corporate slave.

          2. Windows Store is much better than GOG, Origin, Steam etc:

            – cross buy between PC and Xbox
            – cross play (PC – Xbox)
            – shared achievements (PC – Xbox)
            – shared list of friends (PC – Xbox)
            – shared save (PC – Xbox)
            – stream games from Xbox to PC (Xbox app integrated with Windows)
            – record game without additional software
            – share video, screenshots
            – etc.

GOG galaxy is a trash app like Orgin and Uplay. Steam is better but without support of local currencies, without cross buy (PC-Xbox) and with very expensive games. I think that “Windows Store + Xbox App” are more advanced than any other store on PC

          3. Steam, Galaxy, Uplay, Origin works on previous versions of Windows that alone makes every “positive” you’ve mentioned basically worthless.

          4. “works on previous versions of Windows”

Why anyone want to use old version of Windows without DX12. Its stupid – W10 is free and much better (and faster)

          5. & Vulkan is “even more better.”

But we don’t talk about that, ssshhhhhhh…….

          6. But Vulkan is slower that DX11. Check benchmarks – DOTA ora Talos Principle. This is why all game developers use DX11 or DX12 and only ID Software use OpenGL or Vulkan.

          7. No it isn’t. The use of DirectX instead of open alternatives is purely because of convenience.

          8. Vulkan always will be slower than DirectX because it must work on many different OS on PC, mobile etc. Can’t be optimized like DirectX 12 on single OS. Its not possible.

          9. Let’s add some context to that benchmark being as you simply ignored all the write up that came with it

“To be very clear here this is an early look at Vulkan performance; Croteam admits from the get-go that their current implementation is very early, and is not as fast as their now highly tuned DirectX 11 implementation. Furthermore The Talos Principle is not a title that’s designed to exploit the CPU utilization and draw call improvements that are central to Vulkan “

          10. hmmm, doesn’t look it you know what you are talking about m8. Why do you think it can’t be optimized for windows as good as DX? Is there some rule in programming that blocks them from doing that?

          11. Are you serious compare game from 1999 on 3Dfx – Glide vs DirectX 5? BTW Glide was not “open standard” but closed standard to one GPU – 3dfx. Most “closed API” ever created – single GPU vendor

          12. The point he’s trying to make is that new API’s have always taken time to outmatch old API’s, going back decades now.

Glide was the “old” API in this case, & Direct3D was the “new” (better) API (at the time), just like how Vulkan is right now trailing behind DirectX 11 & 12 both, because it hasn’t had time to be properly implemented yet.

Needless to say, Direct3D eventually surpassed Glide completely (duh), & that’s the point of it all, basically.

          13. No.. Glide was “closed API” for only one GPU and it was faster than “open API” DirectX for all existing GPU. Now DirectX for single OS is faster than Vulkan for multiple OS (mobile, pc). You cant optimize for all. Its simple, check benchmarks

          14. You simply have no clue what you are talking about. OpenGL and any graphics API can be faster than DX, it’s just about the time and effort put into it.

“After this work, Left 4 Dead 2 is running at 315 FPS on Linux. That the Linux version runs faster than the Windows version (270.6) seems a little counter-intuitive, given the greater amount of time we have spent on the Windows version. However, it does speak to the underlying efficiency of the kernel and OpenGL. Interestingly, in the process of working with hardware vendors we also sped up the OpenGL implementation on Windows. Left 4 Dead 2 is now running at 303.4 FPS with that configuration”

          15. Clearly you completely missed the point and the reason is because you simply don’t understand what you are talking about.

          16. Even though I have Win10 and have no plans to rollback to the previous versions, I’m aware that the world doesn’t end at my doorstep, nor I want M$ shoving it at my face like it should be.

Explaining this simple thing is embarrassing.

          17. That is, assuming most people even care or know anyone on the Xbox (not to mention have one themselves, even). If they don’t, most of those features automatically become pointless.

          18. Not to mention the majority of the GPU market is Nvidia, which has a built in game recorder with Shadowplay that’s capable of much higher quality than the trash game dvr that’s capped at 1080p30.

          19. I never install that trash apps for GPU – only pure driver. I dont like 200-300MB bloatware

  4. I want this game in UWP because of “cross buy” between PC and Xbox. In Windows 10 Redsone all games in Windows Store should be ‘cross buy’ between PC and Xbox with shared achivements.

    Steam = No buy

    1. UWP is a cancer solely created to take control away from users in favor of giving it to Microsoft.

        1. Why? Because i want use local currency to buy a game? In most countries Steam doesn’t support local currency. Windows Store have that support.

          1. He’s saying you shouldn’t use it on moral grounds, just like Windows 10 as a whole really but Microsoft are to busy forcing upgrades to Windows 10.

          2. And more Microsoft can lock users into their store for their games only, one reason why Windows 10 is free. Microsoft need to get their money back somehow.

          3. I really don’t understand why anyone hate Windows Store? Windows Store have local currency in most countries in the world – How many countries are supported on Steam? Maybe 10 or something like that. In most countries people never buy anything on Steam and only use this as DRM on retail games.

          4. because of windows store live from a while back.but with ms push it should be evident that win 10 store is going to stay.

          5. “10 countries” is a massive understatement, considering the Euro currency alone covers 25 countries, currently.

Local language & monetary support is a long-standing international issue that should have been resolved ages ago (it’s nothing specific only to Steam, it’s a general issue with digital markets, really), & it’s really, truly disgraceful that it hasn’t (like so many other things), but it is what it is, unfortunately.

I applaud Microsoft for at least having one thing better than Valve, but like that other guy mentioned, in light of GOG & so many other non-Steam alternatives, I really just don’t see any reason for anyone to wall themselves off with the Microsoft Spyware Store instead.

          6. Like i said. I never bought a single game from Steam and probably never will. Steam is most expensive game store – at least twice than any other shop in my country. Most silly is “steam sale” because after -50% is still more expensive than normal price on all other stores.

I don’t want Steam monopoly. I will never buy any Steam exclusive game. Steam = no buy

          7. You are arguing one point that suits you, that is all your case against stream. Can you run Windows store on any other Windows version? No, Can I run Steam on Linux or other platforms, OS’s and not be restricted by OS’s? Yes. You are welcome to your store that only is there to sell the OS and gain money back for their free OS.

          8. steam locks you to but its ok.right? you really shouldnt use that argument WrATH and ms is sitting fine with $400b …lol

          9. Steam is a third party app that runs on other versions of Windows and OS’s, trust you to not have the brain power to understand that, being the corporate slave you are.

          10. still what happens if you break steam rules you account and all you games are gone.same thing all these other networks do like psn, xbox live win 10 store its all the same.

          11. What OS you using on your phone? Are you “corporate slave” using Android or iOS?

          12. Yes I do have an Android phone, but just some education for you being as you are clueless

Android is Linux, a free open source OS which you can use on just about any device and I’ve been using Linux on my desktop for over 12 years. Google doesn’t own Linux and their licence for Android is an open source one.

          13. Yep, funny enough you can’t even play solitaire now without seeing ads and it even has transactions now.

          14. you wont win with WrATH even if you are right
i am one for 100% uwp win 10 dx12 and amd he is a nvidia vulkan guy that think vulkan will take over dx12 because of nvidia…lol

          15. well tell that to xbox who raised the price of xbox live in other countries to match the us..lol

          16. Xbox? who cares about it….even us, pc gamers are buying almost the same or even more than xboxers!

            PS4 + Steam = Perfection!

            goVEGAN

          17. Vegan thing aside, agreed. PlayStation over Xbox any day (by far), thank you very much.

          18. No winstore don’t have that support over here, Steam don’t have it either but at least i can buy steam games cheap via 3rd party stores or with gift cards and unlike winstore it’s tax free (0.99$ car in forza cost 1.4$ with tax – no thanks, why should i pay tax to us goverment when i’m in the middle east ? ). also i can access my games files and i can change whatever i pleased with steam. you might say that winstore also have gift cards, good luck redeeming those.

      1. Funny, you say you get if for ‘free’ but you are in effect paying for it.
PC gets free multiplayer, you don’t. Ha lol

    1. Funny story, people used to say that about Halo 2 Vista…. Then one day a crack came out for it & suddenly, just like that, it worked on Windows XP!

      😮

      1. you pc gamers live in the past way to much…lol uwp isnt wlg…lmao.do you not see the commitment xbox and ms have been doing to brinf xbox and pc in afamily.if you think they are just going to drop that next year i lol at you.

          1. Yeah, but when everyone KNOWS you’re a troll no fun is had. I troll people all the time, but they can’t know you’re trolling.

      1. You forgot about:
        – Windows 10 is last OS from Microsoft (some day it will be on every PC on this planet)
        – Windows Store is integral part of W10, Steam and other shops not
        – UWP is not “DRM” like GFWL or Steam… its replacement of old API called ‘win32’
        – UWP have better support of DirectX 12 and other new API than Win32 (most DX12 games are UWP)
        – …

        1. “Windows 10 is last OS from Microsoft (some day it will be on every PC on this planet)”

AHAHAHAHAHAHA – *catches breath* – AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

          No, seriously – AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Ok, seriously now – even if it is the last OS from Microsoft, ever (which I seriously doubt, regardless of what they’re vomiting out of their holes), to actually be so arrogant as to believe that OS X, Chrome & Linux users (to name just a few) would give up their preferred OSs in favour of Microsoft Spyware 10….. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

“Windows Store is integral part of W10, Steam and other shops not”

So what? Microsoft can’t block Steam, Origin, Galaxy, uPlay or any other such programs from being installed on Spyware 10, they’d be arrested & charged with Anti-Trust immediately. – Not that they wouldn’t love to, of course, but it’ll never happen. Period.

“UWP is not “DRM” like GFWL or Steam…”

          Yeah, keep telling yourself that.

“UWP have better support of DirectX 12 and other new API than Win32”

          Say what?

          1. Funny thing is, Microsoft have already been in trouble with the US government and EU for anti-trust and parts of their business were split up because of it. It’s why we have a default app setting in every windows version now. Also, notice how the default app setting in WIndows 10 looks for default apps in Windows store LOL.

        2. yo i dont care about any of those, if its a bloody mess just to get an overlay (like steams) working in the games from that crappy store, you can forget it, this aint 1995

      2. thats the past move on.what happen when you steam is done bye bye games.same thing if you violate steam rules you lose your account and all you games.

        1. “What could, however, be a very nasty surprise is that the Windows store does not appear to have a clear policy regarding perpetual access to downloads of purchased games when they become delisted, a problem we’ve encountered with other digital stores in the past. As such, if a publisher becomes defunct or simply decides not to offer a game on the Windows store anymore, your purchase might essentially vanish (Microsoft’s website is vague on the permanence of delisted apps). This is a really bad look so early into the store’s life, particularly given Microsoft’s history with Games for Windows Live (GWFL).

Additionally, updates on Windows Store Apps have so far trailed behind compared to their Win32 equivalents, likely due to certification delays. This is doubly problematic if, as in the case of Rise of the Tomb Raider’s SLI problems, the primary issue an update addresses can’t be fixed by the user themselves because of UWP’s interoperability limitations.”

    2. What he’s saying is that he already “got used to it” by decided not to buy any games MS uses to try and get people into their walled gardens. PC is about openness.

        1. Yeah? & how many digits are we using to count the number of people buying these games? 5? Nice.

        2. Oh, I’m sure tons are, but not everyone will upgrade to Windows 10 just for a couple of Xbox exclusives. I won’t. I am upgrading to Windows 10 on my new machine for the HTC Vive, but I HAVE to because it works smoother on 10 than 7, so it’s a necessity, but I wouldn’t upgrade just to play frickin’ Sunset Overdrive.

          1. “but I HAVE to because it works smoother on 10 than 7, so it’s a necessity,”

No you don’t HAVE to. You could live with what you have if you really wanted to. And besides, for some people playing Sunset Overdrive is a necessity, just like using your HTC Vive is a necessity for you. It’s merely a matter of perspective, so you upgrading to Windows 10 citing a “necessity” isn’t really more relevant than someone doing it to play Sunset Overdrive.

  5. This is the only Xbox exclusive game I was actually interested in but I’m not getting Windows 10 just for it.

  6. Well, Im stuck with the same UWP issue since the start (aside from other issues…) which is I cant install anything in another partition no matter what I do.

    1. you mean like to another drive? (logical or physical?) I have a SSD as my OS (c:) drive and uwp games where too big to fit multiple ones on it. I went to settings, clicked on the little icon that says SYSTEM -display,notification,apps,power and selected apps where you can uninstall a programs etc, but click on a UWP app and theres an extra option titled Move, I selected that for GoW and it popped up asked me to where, I selected my “D” drive and it moved it without having to re install or anything. It also brought up an window asking me if I wanted to set the new location as my default space for UWP apps and I selected yes. Now for me at least they all go to my much larger D drive. I hope that can help as I know the pain of having 30 40gb games eat up ssd space

      1. Thanks for the tip, but I tried that already. Already tried quite a few solutions I found in the internet, even messed up the registry at one point (restored it later) but no luck. So, for me UWP isn’t even an option because of that.

Too bad microsoft complicates so much how this app works. If they were as good as some of their enterprise apps, they would be in much better position. Maybe it’s time for them to get new programmers.

        1. I’m sorry to hear that, but yeah can def understand, if I was limited to my putting files on my OS drive it would be a no go for me too.

  7. That makes me so happy, this game was one of the few Xbox 1 exclusives that I really loved when I had one. A lot of fun, great art style and unique weapons. As for UWP exclusivity, all that matters for me is performance, if it will run well then I’ll buy, I own games on multiple platforms and it doesn’t really bother me that much. UWP’s integrated w/ my windows account, so logging into windows is the only authentication I’ve ever needed w/ the games that I do own on it, otherwise its just clicking an icon on my desktop.

  8. As long as its not 30fps capped or plagued by being a bad port then I might consider, since I’ve wanted to play this game for a very long time now.

  9. Tired of the scheming and FORCED bullshit from publishers and MS. UWP is yet another MS angle to try and monopolize so they can go back to unchallenged price control. If people think they are going to “miss out” or “get left behind” then they don’t realize there are tons of other amazing companies out there worthy of support.

  10. Call me crazy, but I’d rather play the game on UWP than not at all. But, that’s just me being an actual gamer.

    1. So in other words you have no morals at all and don’t care about software lock in ,may as well sell your soul to the devil as the saying goes, you game for anything, companies rely on people like you, they push what they can get away with because of people like you.

      1. What does morals have to do with this? It’s a product. There is nothing right or wrong about the game or UWP. I’ll go wind you up a nice tight tin hat.
Yep, companies do rely on consumers. That’s how business works. You don’t have to buy their stuff if you don’t like their software. I, personally, find no issues with it. I won’t pay full price, that’s for sure, but there is certainly nothing wrong with supporting the company that keeps computer gaming afloat anyway (Microsoft and Windows). But, I imagine your commenting on Windows right now, and you’re supporting them through this anyway. Perhaps try a Mac to avoid the hypocrisy? Oh wait…same stuff there. Linux! Yeah, that’s it.
        Have fun with that…

        1. I’ve been using Linux for over 12 years and a lot of that time as a Primary OS and if Microsoft stop supporting and selling Windows tomorrow, I’d be fine thanks. Also you clearly haven’t read about UWP. My avatar is a free software icon by the way.

          1. I’m well aware of UMP, actually. It’s getting better much faster than people realize.
            Still, gamer choice.
Linux is great, but it will never be my OS for anything other than my routers.

          2. What ignorance exactly? What am I missing?
You people make huge deals out of insignificant issues. I’d rather spend my days enjoying what I can instead of dwelling on everything.

          3. “Linux is great, but it will never be my OS for anything other than my routers.”

            Ignorance.

          4. Or maybe choice? Ignorance is not realizing differing opinions can both be correct. So who is the real slave here? I’m open to both yet you’re the one with no options.

          5. You said “never”, so no you are not open to both Windows and Linux as a OS on your desktop. I have no options, clearly you didn’t read this.

“I’ve been using Linux for over 12 years and a lot of that time as a Primary OS and if Microsoft stop supporting and selling Windows tomorrow i’d be fine.”

          6. And what system you use on your phone? Are you “corporate slave” using Android or iOS? People are so strange

        2. “there is certainly nothing wrong with supporting the company that keeps computer gaming afloat anyway,”

          Two problems with this statement

          1. You assume that the way they sell you products is the only way to keep computer gaming afloat. (When you say no to a company another company will fill it’s shoes with a better way to please you and still make money, use Android against iOS as an obvious example).

          2. This line of thinking will never try to attempt to see if there is a better way to be provided games.

We as consumers are more responsible for the gaming industry cus the quality goes up or down based off what we accept not just what they give us.

    2. “How dare you have principles on what DRM you allow companies shove down your throat, filthy non-gamer!”

      F*ck off.

  11. I care about it. Thanks to “cross buy” I can buy game once and play it on PC or Xbox. I hope that all future games will be UWP because I don’t wat pay twice for single game

    1. Ya ya, we get it, you love to deepthroat Xbox and their related products. Most of us don’t.

  12. In my country all games on Steam are at least 2 times more expensive than in any other store. I never bought a single game on Steam . It even doesn’t support my local currency 🙂

  13. Is there a way we can get hvd and all of ITS alt accounts banned or like blacklisted at least for dsog discussions?

  14. I’d love to play Sunset Overdrive. But I will not buy any UWP game from the Windows Store unless it becomes a true open platform, including the ability to mod games without restrictions and buy cheaper keys from 3rd party keystores.

And even then, it will take a while before I trust Microsoft that they don’t put features behind a paywall. I don’t want GFWL 2.

          1. That ‘s okay. I’m not buying uwp games anyway before Microsoft gets the Windows Store on the same level as Steam, including decent pricing and unlimited modding. There are so many other great games for me to play.

  15. Yeah, you really need those sales, especially since Xbox can’t even have a majority in it’s own market.

    Viva la PC
    Viva la PS4

    1. it doesnt matter what you say you buy a xbox exclusive you HAVE NO CHOICE but to buy the xbox didital version which pc will boost xbx one sales…lmao.

consoles are frist pc is 3rd rate.

      1. LMAO
I get unlocked framerates on PC, you’re stuck with 30 FPS
And you call PC 3rd rate,
Consoles are for the lower class who don’t know what performance is.

It doesn’t take a genious to work out these games you’re talking about

        1. lamo like i said you couldnt list 1 AAA title on pc that got exclusive first dlc.all pc has is more power thats it otherwise its a 3rd rate gameing platform to devs…..lmao

          1. I wouldn’t class any game on console as triple A as they’re not high quality.
They can’t even run 1080p 60FPS, how it that high quality?
I prefer triple A games on PC at lease we can run them at 4K!

          2. lol Don’t you have some console to go buy? I’ll be chilling here with my Vive.
Go let Microsoft milk you for all your money, come back when you have a real argument.

          3. Where did you say anything about AAA games?
Can you read? I think the answer to that is no.
Also what’s ‘lamo’ don’t you mean lmao?

            So to reiterate;

            LMAO
I get unlocked framerates on PC, you’re stuck with 30 FPS
And you call PC 3rd rate,
Consoles are for the lower class who don’t know what performance is.

It doesn’t take a genius to work out these games you’re talking about aren’t Xbox exclusive, you know, since they’re on PC.
If that isn’t obvious to you then you really don’t know what you’re talking about.

Xbox is a fail of a console with a tiny market share, deal with it.

  16. It’s funny because that is the one and only game amd users go to for a comparison and useing 2 cards to compare to a singal gtx1080 is ridiculous. I wouldn’t use an AMD card ever I have an asus strix gtx1080 on the way I don’t want or need 2 budget cards trying to emulate what I can do with one and I would say both won’t be putting out what this card can do do not trust what one singal game gives as a bench Mark it’s a bad idea.

    1. all nvbidia did was boast that the gtx 1080 was faster then2 titan’x for thier card and that seams to ok for you thatswhat you call a hypocrite.

as far as nvidia goes if they dont get async compute support for dx12 ill never buy their cards again.

      1. They said faster than 2 gtx980s not titan xs . And if that’s your worry about async compute you may start buying a gtx 1080 because it has it .

  17. I just checked again it’s not a work around on gtx1080 its full async compute the gtx980 was a work around but not the gtx 1080 .
