Stephen King’s Rose Red Meets PT in Haunted Bloodlines

Iphigames, Serafini Productions and Horrified Triangles today revealed a brand-new Cinematic Trailer for their upcoming first-person psychological horror game, Haunted Bloodlines. According to the devs, the trailer offers a first look at new scenes from the full game. Moreover, a playable demo is available on Steam.

Haunted Bloodlines is a first-person survival and psychological horror experience that drops players into the eerie depths of an ever-shifting mansion. Here’s its official description.

“After the sudden death of your father, you inherit a sprawling estate hidden deep within a dark forest, only to begin questioning your sanity as you uncover disturbing truths about your family’s legacy. Is your bloodline who you believe them to be? And can you face the truth without losing your mind?”

In Haunted Bloodlines, the rooms will rearrange themselves. Memories that aren’t yours will start to surface, and the further you dig into your family’s past, the harder it will become to tell what’s real and what the mansion wants you to see.

The game will not have any combat mechanics. Your only options to survive will be to hide or run. Players can stay silent, stay hidden, and keep track of the mansion’s shifting layout. Moreover, they will solve puzzles by stepping into the past and moving between the living world and its haunted reflection.

Haunted Bloodlines is inspired by Stephen King’s Rose Red, P.T., and Silent Hill, and is mixed with Greek mythology. The game started life as a student project before growing into a full horror experience under Horrified Triangles, with a clearer identity and a long-term vision.

As I said, there is a playable PC demo you can try. Those interested can download it from this link.

Finally, there is no ETA for when the game will come out. Naturally, though, I’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Have fun!
