Steam is often considered as the best digital platform for all developers (whether they are triple-A studios or indie developers). And from the looks of it, Valve’s digital service is kicking some serious ass. According to Steamspy’s stats, around 60 million copies of games were sold in August.

Surprisingly enough, FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD sold well, meaning that there is hope for a PC version of Final Fantasy XV. What also surprised us was the amazing sales for both Skyrim and Arma 2. Moreover, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is still selling like hot cakes.

Bethesda releases an RPG that purposely facilitates modding, allowing gamers to continuously add utility and value to the game while driving sales of the base game going on for over three years now. Paying attention EA, Rockstar, and Ubisoft? Nope.

Do you even know what u’re talking about? Like csgo wasn’t made by valve, and you can really tell it since there’s no valve quality on that aids bag, also stating that it’s not infected by kids is great horsesh*t (weapons skins tell much for example), and did you forget about cheaters? like 50% of its players are cheaters, that’s why all those buys and such numbers regarding concurrent players

All of these are very old games that has been out for years. On August we had only 2 new game releases Trine 3 and Zombi that both were average games and not AAA quality.

Is old games equal bad games? I can say easily that of all released games of 2014/5 at most 7 games are worth 60bucks! 7 games at most…and GTA aint one of those! 30bucks at most for a 2 years dated game!
What i meant is that most of the sales of these games happend at first months of release . It also then that the developers makes the most profit because day one/first months steam sales at 60 euros/dollars while now these games are sold for less than 20 euros. GTA V was sold at 60 euros because it is a huge open world game that costs a lot to make that even with 2 years delay it costs so much. Other games that came to pc 2 years later like Mortal kombat 9 and Alan wake were costing 30 euros at release date becuase their development costs were a lot lower than GTA 5.
