Star Wars: Galaxy in Turmoil Is an Unofficial Fan Remake of Star Wars: Battlefront III, First Screenshots

It appears that a number of players were disappointed with the release of DICE’s Star Wars: Battlefront and the cancellation of Star Wars: Battlefront III. As a result of that, a team of PC gamers united and created Frontwire Studios, who is now working on Star Wars: Galaxy in Turmoil.

Star Wars: Galaxy in Turmoil is a project that plans to re-create what Battlefront III was meant to be. In short, it is an unofficial fan remake of Star Wars: Battlefront III that will be released for free.

We don’t know whether EA and DICE will allow this mod to be further developed, however the team seems really dedicated to it.

Right now, this project features:

  • Main Menu – Map Selector – Class Selector – First Person
  • Maps: Test Room,Hoth,Tatooine,Space-to-Ground Test Map
  • Flyable: X-Wing,Y-Wing
  • Weapons: DC-15S Blaster Rifle,Republic Grenade Launcher,Republic Missile Launcher,Z6 Rotary Blaster Cannon,A280C Blaster Rifle
