It appears that a new Splinter Cell game may soon be revealed. A new product for ‘Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell 2018’ appeared on Amazon. The interesting thing here, however, is that this product is from Ubisoft itself, so this may very well be an unintentional leak.
This obviously shouldn’t surprise us as Ubisoft has already stated that it has not forgotten the Splinter Cell series. Back in June 2017, Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot told Geoff Keighley that Ubisoft has not forgotten Sam Fisher.
“I can’t say much about that. For sure, all the Clancy games are taken care of. It’s just that we have a lot on our plate at the moment and The Division continues to be played and Rainbow Six too. I think yesterday was even one of the highest numbers of players playing…So all the Clancy games are coming along. We are not forgetting Splinter Cell.”
According to its description, this new Splinter Cell game will be revealed at E3 2018 and will be coming to the PC (it won’t be a PC exclusive, it will also come out to current-gen consoles).
As always, take everything you’ve just read with a grain of salt. Ubisoft has not announced anything official yet, therefore it would be wise to wait until the French company officially unveils a new part in the Splinter Cell series.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Please be an improvement upon blacklist which was rather excellent, maybe incorporate some ideas from MGSV which was genuinely brilliant.. Also, hopefully atleast this time Sam gets his goddamn retirement which he has been crying for since Day 1.
Maybe actually do have nonlinear enviroments to infiltrate, that would be great.
thank god finally.
Don’t get too excited, it’s probably going to suck. Today’s Ubisoft seems to be incapable of making a game without wallhack vision and plastered with markers that basically plays itself.
keep whining loser
Multiplayer, Online, Co-op, Microtr…
free singleplayer pirated…
Whit out michael ironside they can go and F**k them self .

Word is he’s back on this one.
Shameful as it was to ditch Michael Ironside, Black list is still P. Gud. The VA did a good job (not his fault tho) but with Ironside it would have been perfect
series hasn’t been any good since the OG XBOX no hope of it ever being good again.
More likely a remaster.
I’m actually excited about this one. Can’t wait to see what they’ve done with Motion Matching and IK Rig.
the modern Ubisoft will turn Splintercell into a glorified X-ray vision fest with microtransactions
and with a “diverse” cast of teammates
i expect this game to be a miserable failure, just like the rest of Ubisuck’s titles since 2013…
After playing AC syndicate and Watch Dogs 2,I believe you…
Didn’t the last one have x-ray vision?
did anyone not see this coming?they announce something new based on their long running franchises every year at e3, they ran out of franchise, splinter cell is the only one remaining for this year.
It’s the issue I’ve been having with this generation as a whole. The previous ones were so much better because we kept getting new franchises all the time. Not so much these days.
That moment when you remember that between 2010 and 2018 we’ve got 4 Metal Gear games but only 2 Splinter Cells.
We need a new Splinter Cell badly!
I don’t trust what Ubisoft is now 🙁
Yves Guillemot hinted that there’ll be a sequel during last year’s E3 when he was asked about it. So I’m certain there’ll be a reveal during this year’s event. Hopefully Michael Ironside will be reprising his role as Sam Fisher. Made no sense whatsoever when they replaced him on the last game.
