Developed in collaboration between SEGA, Christian Whitehead, Headcannon, and PagodaWest Games, Sonic Mania will feature new zones and remixed classic levels from past Sonic games, and will offer three playable characters (Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles).

Sonic Mania is planned for a Spring 2017 release, and below you can find its debut trailer.

  1. The pixel art and animation looks so good, and from the footage I’ve seen, the gameplay seems on point with the Mega Drive games.

  2. WOW the sound FX and music are outstandingly well done! Goose bumps on the game play with a headphone. Impressed, very dinamic usage of the stereophonics effects.
Most people won’t perceive it but to me sometimes is more important than the graphics, that had the care it deserved.
