Sins of a Solar Empire II feature

Sins of a Solar Empire II will be released on August 15th, and here are its PC requirements

Stardock has announced that its real-time 4X strategy game, Sins of a Solar Empire II will be released on August 15th. Moreover, the publisher shared the game’s official PC system requirements. So, let’s take a look at them.

Sins of a Solar Empire II will give players more tools than ever to form their own play styles as they battle, scheme, monopolize, and manipulate their way to victory. The sequel also introduces new emergent tactics and strategies that reward creative thinking. Players can protect vulnerable units by body-blocking missiles with their Titan, launch a surprise attack from a rogue asteroid when its orbit reaches the enemy’s back line, or guard themselves against a backstab with a time-locked alliance.

The game will feature three playable races including the Advent, Vasari, and TEC. Players will be able to orbit planets that dynamically alter the map during play, requiring them to gradually shift strategies as new challenges and opportunities emerge.

Sins II will also have enhanced tactical battles and deeper combat simulation including lasers and missiles that can be blocked or deflected. The game will also offer a new economy model. This model will allow players to truly customize their worlds to fit production needs.

It’s also worth noting that Sins II will support ten-player multiplayer matches, allowing players to seamlessly join or resume games.

To run the game, PC gamers will need an Intel Core i5 5th-generation or AMD Ryzen 2×00 series CPU with 8GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce 950 / AMD Radeon RX 450. The game will also require 20GB of free disk space.

Ironclad Games recommends using an Intel Core i7 9th-generation or AMD Ryzen 3×00 series CPU with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce 1060 or AMD Radeon 580.

Finally, here is the latest trailer for Sins II.

Enjoy!

  1. LOL no, the date is for the steam version, the game has been available on the epic fail store since 10/27/22
LOL epig is a Marketing Black Hole

    1. Well you failed, the post is about the game going final on the 15th from Early access to Steam. yes it was on EGS. but its now going final release!!

        1. No, you are absolutely wrong. The game is not final yet, and wont be until the 15th of Aug. Dont believe me then go read it for yourself on the Steam forums where the Devs have even said it. And on top of that the Advent are not released yet, and wont be until the final Version 2.0. along with a bunch of other things that are not even in the game yet. You all really need to get your facts straight because you are absolutely wrong!

          1. Your claim was that the game is in early access, which is wrong – it left early access the second the 1.0 update was released.

Tons of games get new content and are not considered "final" after their 1.0 release, but that doesn't mean they're in early access.

You were wrong. It's not the end of the world. Accept it, move on, and try to be a bit more humble and civil when you think someone is wrong in the future.

          2. Again you are wrong. The game is still EA and the devs have already stated it in the Steam forums. get over it and don’t reply back or Ill just block you!

  2. I loved the first one as a sequel to Homeworld, I think it's made by some of its former devs, but…

The marketing/PR and planning of these guys is a disaster.

I find it extremely confusing that they have 2 or 3 expansions and they work as standalone games that you can buy and play separately (???!), could never easily find which of the expansion was first or wether I'm missing the features of one if i play the other, or why they're not built into a single game as normal…
and now they have this other confusing situation of the game being already in the Epic store but the Steam version is in Early Access…

I'd be thankful if someone could clarify.
