SCORN releases on October 21st, gets brand new gameplay trailer

Ebb Software has announced that SCORN will release on October 21st. Additionally, the team released a brand new gameplay trailer that you can find below.

SCORN is a new first-person adventure game that is heavily inspired by H.R. Giger’s work. In this game, every location will contain its own theme (story), puzzles and characters that are integral in creating a cohesive world. Throughout the game, players will open up new areas. Players will also acquire different skill sets, weapons, various items and try to comprehend the sights presented to them.

  2. I don’t remember the older demos but I’d give it the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the game went through many changes in terms of its purpose and gameplay mechanics. That’s been the standards in game development since the golden era. HL2 is a prime example. My main concern is the gunplay. Since the game has zero dialogue it’s either all or nothing with it for me.

    I dig the art style so much since it’s kinda reminiscent of the PS1 era. During that time gothic/dystopian imagery was a pretty popular thing in entertainment so it’s nice to see that sort of homage. But the last thing we all need at this point is a walking sim, no matter how unique the world looks. So far they’ve shown a whole lot walking which is concerning.
