Russian gaming journalist, Anton Logvinov, has stated that Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to the PC in February 2020. According to the journalist, the PC version will be announced very soon and will be released so it can boost the game’s popularity for its upcoming sequel.
Moreover, Logvinov claims that he knows a few developers working on games for PlayStation 5 who told him that Sony asked them to keep in mind a PC version when developing their games. If that’s true, then we may see some PS5-exclusives coming to the PC.
If Logvinov is to be believed, we should be getting a PC announcement for Horizon Zero Dawn at this year’s VGA awards. After all, there isn’t any other event during which Sony can announce the PC version.
Now while this may sound cool, I don’t believe it’s happening. For starters, Horizon Zero Dawn is a first-party game for PS4. Yes, Death Stranding may be using the same engine, however it wasn’t a first-party title. Let’s also not forget that Kojima had initially announced that Death Stranding was coming on both PS4 and PC.
I also don’t expect Sony to be releasing its biggest PS4 exclusives on the PC. Don’t get me wrong, it would be great if we could play Gran Turismo, God of War, Spiderman and The Order 1866. However, this isn’t Microsoft we’re talking about. Sony has been investing a lot of its resources on its first-party games. Thus, I don’t really expect them coming out on other platforms any time soon.
Therefore, I strongly suggest taking everything you read with a grain of salt. Still, it will interesting to see whether such thing will happen.
Funnily enough, we wrote an April’s Fools article back in 2018 about Sony’s first-party games coming to the PC. Imagine the irony if this actually happens. Oh boy…

god of war or horizon ?
Played both, GoW is definitely a better game. Horizon is average in gameplay, stellar in visual design. Take every open world cliche or trope if you prefer, and put it in this game.
open world stuff is pretty much similar to far cry games, premise is what i liked most differentiates from other games. i hope they improve aspects of it for sequel like climbing is limited for 1st one hope they make it like assassins creed up-gradable later in game.

Framerate has nothing to do with the quality of a game. Higher framerate can enhance an already good game, but it doesn’t make or break it. And there’s nothing feminist about the game. Yep, it’s pretty much the only game on PS4 that’d truly appeal to me and it’s not an exclusive either. The PS3 and PS Vita ports are both basically the same apart from running at a lower frame-rate. Runs flawlessly via RPCS3 and looks superb courtesy of being able to boost the rendering resolution.

I find this game boring, I tried 3 times.
First i had original game, played until you leave the village and got bored.
Then i waited for complete edition and got the complete edition disk

It’s really not “CLEAR SJW Feminazi propaganda”, though it is definitely a little too RAH!-RAH!-GRRRRRL POWER! for it’s own good in a few places. It would also have been nicer if Aloy were prettier, which I do think may have been an agenda driven decision.
It has a surprisingly good story (if you stick with it, at least), and Aloy is an actual heroine with a proper Heroic Journey. This is something that isn’t even possible for a piece of propaganda to do.
Gameplay wise it’s excellent, though fighting human enemies can be a bit boring. The robot fights more than make up for that little shortcoming.

Played it on PS4, don’t see myself ever playing it again. Wasn’t very enjoyable for me. Still, that’s nice to see more people can experience it if they truly wish to.

I bought a used ps4 for 200eur in 2015, I buy, then play, then sell a couple of boxed ps4 exclusives a year. It’s way better than waiting for 3,4,5 years for a port that “might” be released on pc. I only play single player exclusives so there’s no need for ps+. And of course I use my pc for everything else. All you have to do is to “use” your “brain” a little, console gaming is doable even on a tight budget.

This game is awesome and everyone should play it, its beautiful and fighting each robots is different and require skills and managing your weapons, the story was surprisingly very good.
Anyway it was underlooked because it came out weeks before breath of the wild(which i also played and loved)

Might be a response with what xbox is doing with it’s game. Competition is good. Horizon was by far the best ps4 exclusive. Be nice to replay it with better graphics on pc.
If it came to PC would be great, because i could finally play this game by turning off that GOD awful Motion BLUR. They game is so Blurry, i played about 20% of it and couldn’t stomach the rest. This is one of those games that would play way better with KB+M as well. But if it comes to PC it would probably be another God damn Epic Hostage Game.

It was just out of curiosity but I was looking at the MCC on steam earlier today, actually looking like a pretty good deal for the price and number of titles in it.
Release it on Steam, sod going for a newly created, bare bones “Sony client”, because we’ve already had R* do that, and I’m now eternally put off buying/playing their games anymore.
Also I’m not fond of using/abusing an open platform like PC to “bolster sales for the sequel”, which we know will be PS5 exclusive, and even if the first comes to PC, the second won’t for a few years, which just adds to my prior comment about taking advantage of PC.

I kinda played it on my pc since I don’t have a PS4, i had to do it with Remote Play from a friends PS4, was a pretty enjoyable experience but if anyone tried watching youtube in the house the visuals would instantly degrade and the program would terminate the connection.
