Rumor: Assassin’s Creed: Rogue Will Come To The PC This April According To Online Retailer

Our reader ‘prudis’ has informed us about a possible release date for Assassin’s Creed: Rogue PC. According to Czech retailer Playman, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue will be coming to the PC this April. Naturally – and since Ubisoft has not revealed any official release date – we suggest taking it with a grain of salt.

We’ve screencapped the release date in case Playman takes down Assasssin’s Creed: Rogue’s page.

Set in the middle of the 18th century during the Seven Years War, Assassin’s Creed Rogue gives players new locations across North America to explore, including the frozen North Atlantic, the Appalachian River Valley and New York.

In Assassin’s Creed Rogue, players experience the Assassin’s Creed universe through the eyes of a Templar. As Shay Patrick Cormac, players suffer the brotherhood’s betrayal and transform into an Assassin hunter.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more. Oh, and let’s hope that Ubisoft will release a new update for Unity before releasing this new AC title.

  1. Expect BlackFlag like performance… Garbage performance and they can’t blame “drawcalls” this time since it’s based off 360/ps3 hardware

      1. No…. And the PhysX SMOKE they added in has 0 optimization I never seen PhysX be such a performance hit. Not even in the 1st game it was used in aka Unreal Tournament 3 that came out in 2007. Ubisoft gives 0 F’ks

          1. no it’s not at times. It’s really good when dev’s use it right. And most dev’s use it to learn from it which is why Frostbite engine 3 is so good today with effects as well as it’s in game physics.

Ubisoft just gives gameworks a bad rep which is why I am happy to see no gameworks games in 2015 are from Ubisoft that I have seen.

      2. Ignore this peasant.

PhysX High + TXAA chugs up 1 cpu core at 100% causes perf issues.

So PhysX Normal + Temporal SMAA = smooth silky 60fps! And expect issues if you dont have a dedicated physX gpu. Thats nvidia crapware requirement, you need it.

          1. Yeah man, I heard nvidia is organizing a program with Sony to offer PS4s to disgruntled GTX970 owners because it has 8gb vram. This is why Sony sold off SOE to prepare for more cash.

  2. well last year i was more excited for this than Unity, but i was even more excited for Assassin’s Creed China cause it’s probably better than both.

  3. FYI: Playman is official PC publisher of Ubisoft titles in Czech and is responsible for CZ translations of Ubi titles.

  4. Must be fake, just by searching on google it says november several places. Nothing implies that the game will be released earlier.
