Ubisoft has announced that Rocksmith+ will release on PC on September 6th, and will have over 5000 songs at launch. And, in case you did not know, Rocksmith+ will be an interactive music learning subscription service. So yeah, pay attention to that “subscription service“.
According to Ubi, Rocksmith+ will include songs from The Clash, Juan Gabriel, Eurythmics, Cake, Muddy Waters, Natalia Lafourcade, Alicia Keys, Boston, Martinho Da Vila, Peter Tosh, Santana, Van Morrison, and many more.
Rocksmith+ will have features such as real-time feedback, which continuously tracks and analyzes your performance while providing instant recommendations. It will also pack a suite of practice tools that you control, such as Riff Repeater, Adaptive Difficulty, and more.
Players will be also able to connect any electric, acoustic, or bass guitar to their PC with the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable. Do note, though, that the game package won’t feature any connection equipment!

Well, good tool, I guess.
But everything is subscription service these days, innit?
Rocksmith 2014 does the job and one can download thousands of songs on Custom Forge or others for free on the internet.
I love to play this game, since all my ex band mates live far from me today.
Are they custom tracks made by the community or the licensed DLCs sold on the stores? I’m actually kinda new to the scene and got the original 2011/12 game shortly before it got delisted.
There were a bunch of DLCs I wanted to get but Ubisoft are actively removing all the content from both titles to shift people’s focus on their new DRM service.
It’s an absolute shame because there were some tracks I totally wanted to get so I can learn to play on my guitar but they’re no longer purchasable. I don’t think it’s easy or even possible to torrent it. The 2014 version is better from what I heard but I do wish to experience both titles to their fullest.
Yes, community made!
At least in the 2014 version, all you need is the song Cherub Rock (Smashing Pumpkins) to be on your game’s folder so you can make custom DLCs work out. Then you just go to some site you trust, download the songs and put them on the DLC folder. Custom Forge is the biggest one, but if you look careful, there’s plenty of sites with music packs.
Alternatively, if you provide an email, I can send you a link to a pack with more than 300 songs for the 2014, which should work on the previous version as well.
Interesting. I’ll keep a note of that since it will come in handy very soon once I purchase Rocksmith 2014. Assuming it doesn’t become delisted any time soon. For personal reasons I don’t wanna share my email publicly, but I do appreciate the offer and all the info you’ve given. Will definitely have a look around these communities at some point in the near future once I invest time into it again.
Dude… DUDE!
LOL
You could share a temporary email, but nevermind. If you need, just signal.

Too much hassle 😛 Well now that I checked I do have a throwaway account that I haven’t accessed in a while: j.marston7@protonmail.com
Much appreciated my guy.
Done!
Check your email.
Cheers!
Got it. Thanks again 🙂
I always had half a mind to try this game. I just ordered a $99 guitar+ $30 UBIsoft USB realtone cable. Maybe I will learn my way around a guitar this time or quit when my fingers callous over as usual heh.
