Now, here is one of the best ways to leak a game. Earlier today, Teyon pushed a 32GB update for Robocop: Rogue City. However, it appears that someone has pushed the wrong button and published a dev build from an unannounced game. That game is what appears to be an adaptation of Hunter: The Reckoning.
Now, while Teyon was quick to react, people were able to download the dev build of Hunter: The Reckoning and post some screenshots.
As we can clearly see from the title screen, this is a new Hunter: The Reckoning game. So, it’s safe to assume that Teyon is working on this game.
Then we have these two early screenshots. These screenshots have a lot of placeholders. So, it’s not something that can give you an idea of what this game is all about.
For those who did not know, Hunter: The Reckoning is a tabletop RPG in the World of Darkness franchise. In 2025, we got some text-based interactive novels on Steam. So, If I had to guess, I’d say Teyon is working on a fully-fledged game based on the tabletop RPG.
It will be interesting to see what Teyon will do with this franchise. Teyon has built a reputation with its Terminator and Robocop games. Both of them were action titles, and not RPGs. So, will this new Hunter: The Reckoning game be an action FPS or a proper RPG?
And that’s that. NACON and Teyon have not commented yet on this leak. A few days ago, NACON delayed its NACON Connect event. My gut says that this game would have been announced during that event.
As I said, this is one of the best leaks I’ve ever seen. I mean, it’s original at least. So, kudos to the one who pushed the wrong dev build on Steam. Here is hoping he won’t lose his job for this mistake.
Stay tuned for more!
