Resident Evil: Re-Verse PC Open Beta begins on April 7th

Capcom has announced that the PC Open Beta phase for Resident Evil: Re-Verse will begin on April 7th. This phase will last until April 10th, and all PC gamers will be able to access and play it.

According to the team, this open beta will test the game’s system, balance, and servers. This isn’t a demo, meaning that unexpected maintenance may occur during its testing phase. Moreover, you’ll need a CAPCOM ID, and you’ll have to link it to your hardware before playing the open beta test.

Resident Evil: Re-Verse is an online multiplayer title, created as a thank you to fans for the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series. This mode will be available for free to all purchasers of Resident Evil Village. Additionally, it will feature beloved Resident Evil characters as they clash in six-person deathmatches.

  1. Could be cool but seems like a clumsy Japanese attempt to make that American money selling bullshit texture files.

      1. Everything is so politiced and not even in a intelligent/respectful manner,

Its possible to even ignore politcs and just enjoy a game for what it is.

Resident Evil: Re-Verse is an online multiplayer title, created to milk you, the fans, for the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series.

    That’s more like it.

    1. Resident Evil: Re-Verse is an online multiplayer title, created to milk you, the morons, for the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series.

      Fixed it for ya.

    1. as the representative of mentally handicapped people, I don’t appreciate you demeaning my people.
      please respect minorities.

  3. Absolutely no thanks, whatsoever. None.

Another quarter-baked failure of an attempt to add online multiplayer to this franchise.

The only game that ever got RE online right was Outbreak 1 and 2 and those were primordial. Capcom refuses to try again now that they can actually have voicechat and functional networking, so no thanks to RE:VERSE and the other crap they keep trying.

  4. Main game looks so cool, i can’t believe they will have this half-baked generic thing without a soul to release next to it.
