Capcom has just released a PC demo for Resident Evil 4 Remake on Steam. As such, PC gamers will be able to test the game and see whether their PC systems are able to run it.
Resident Evil 4 Remake will be a complete re-imagination of the 2005 game. The game’s storyline will be the same as the one from the original title. Thus, players can expect to be fighting the Ganados.
Capcom plans to release Resident Evil 4 Remake on March 24th, 2023. The final version will also have Ray Tracing, and you can find here its PC system requirements. Furthermore, Capcom will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.
We’ll be sure to test the PC demo and share our PC performance impressions later today. Until then, go ahead and download the demo from here.
Have fun!

Capcom, even on the DEMO they use Denuvo. What is the damn point of that.
This demo doesn’t have Denuvo DRM, the .exe is ~80MB 😉
Well that’s a first, because all of their demos usually have DENUVO.
it’s like these people putting watermarks on pictures
In case anyone would steal the picture of their aunt at a wedding…or something.
Haha yes, ??? It’s such a turn off in every way. I couldn’t have said it any better.
Denuvo spying on you even if you don’t buy a dejewvo game
because some smarties in the past used the .exe from the demos and used them to build a crack.
You know, I wondered about that. Thanks for confirming. Oh the humans, so smart. ????
Bingo!
Avatar checks out.
seems to be another game with shaders and traversal stuttering
I don’t think I noticed any in my playthrough. I’ll run through it again some time tomorrow keeping an eye out
Its none in my setup for now, hopefully no more drm drama like RE VIIIage that they didnt even bother to fix on PC until Empress cr*ck it down and show their botched DRM implementation, Denuvo on top of their own DRM on top Steam DRM, one DRM is enough to cause trouble but they made it 3 in one game, no wonder Empress have an ill feel to Capcom
What’s with Japanese PC game developers and Dunevo/DRM.
None of these idiots wants to release on GoG either because they need DRM on every single game.
It’s to prevent Russians and other third world rats from stealing their games.
It’s just a bunch of weeb pedophiles, they deserve to get pirated.
How do you know they’re Muslim?
Muslim, japanese, what’s the difference?
Japanese don’t have a blood thirsty child fcking r4pist prophet for a start. They also don’t have a low IQ population that follows/believes into utter horse sh*t.
So what was that about weeb pedophile games i keep reading from your stupid dirty fingers?
Game loves Vram maxed out 😀 https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/05e8005c5432f8f1bc4df1c71af1e726874b74db6a4e8bddc06863e79ecf977a.png
I have 12 gb and still had to keep several settings down

Thank God, you can turn the Anti-Aliasing off. Also, I was impressed by the sheer number of graphics options in the settings. Surprising for a demo. Hopefully the real game will live up to the expectations they are setting. I’ll wishlist it on Steam, and hopefully they don’t disappoint.
TAA is such a garbage anti aliasing solution.
“Just blur thr whole screen”
Who comes up with this sh*t?
I hate TAA. Worst Anti-Aliasing ever made. And it isn’t just the horrible blurring, but also the ghosting that it causes.
TAA is extremely blurry in this game, however TAA off also looks bad, because grass and shaders shimmer like crazy. My guess is that they are using sharpening filters that were designed to work with TAA, so when you disable TAA vegetation is oversharpened and shimmers.
The fact that the game is deferred rendered is enough to cause that. Injecting FXAA and NFAA with ReShade will help at least some, especially if you tweak the FXAA settings lightly for more blurring.
I haven’t actually spent time doing anything but looking through the settings yet, and will probably just use CMAA2 with the quality set all the way up because the bright pixels that appear to shimmer when there’s movement don’t bother me.
Game would be great if the movement wasn’t janky garbage inspired by TLoU and RDR2.
Takes ages to move, how the hell do tank controls feel better than this?
How the hell could you POSSIBLY feel the tank controls are better?? Leon is WAY more maneuverable and dynamic feeling in this game. Bout to ring the troll alarm…
Did sony sabotage this version like re village or is it good?
How exactly sony sabotaged re village?
rumor has it sony influenced capcom to make the pc version inferior to the ps5 version by rigging it with stutters and bad performance. Turned out empress cracked the game and fixed it and shortly after capcom patched it.
I pirated the game but experience stutters and audio delays, maybe i messed up my install or my specs are crap.
So i just played the demo, its undeniable at this point that sony sabatoges the pc version, it has traversal stutter and it uses playstation button prompts on first play unless you change them back to xbox.
